2002 Chevrolet 8.1L Engine with P0332, P0335, P0336, P0342, and P0343 Codes - Repeated Stalling Under Load
2002 Winnebago Adventurer Class A Motorhome, over 50,000 miles. This issue has persisted since new. When the engine is warmed up and subjected to load or heavy traffic, it will suddenly stall, with the tachometer dropping to zero before instantly returning. This cycle typically repeats four to five times, after which the vehicle may stabilize—though stalling can still occur intermittently. If the engine dies, I pull over, restart, and continue driving. The fault codes detected are P0332, P0335, P0336, P0342, and P0-343. Under warranty, both crankshaft and camshaft position sensors were replaced with no resolution. Corporate and regional technical teams conducted multiple conference calls and recommended replacing the throttle position sensor (TAC sensor), but this did not resolve the issue. The fuel tank was drained and cleaned, and the fuel filter was replaced—none of these actions have helped. Any insights or solutions for this recurring stalling problem with these specific OBD2 codes would be greatly appreciated.
