Hi, I have the same OBD2 codes—P0011 and P0170—on my 2001 VW Passat V6 4Motion. I've already had a mechanic replace one of the oxygen sensors, but he's now suggesting replacing a timing component, as it might be related to the valve train. However, he's still uncertain if this will resolve the issue. Interestingly, the car was running fine until recently when the fuel level dropped low—could that have triggered the check engine light or contributed to these codes?
