2001 Volvo S60 2.4T Running Poorly with P0014 and P0342 OBD2 Codes - Immediate Shutdown and Rich Fuel Symptoms
I own a 2001 Volvo S60 2.4T and am experiencing serious engine issues. Yesterday, after driving it into my garage, the car shook violently within one minute and then shut off completely. After repeatedly cranking the engine, it would only start with severe stalling and rough idle. It now runs very poorly—barely staying on—and I'm currently receiving two diagnostic trouble codes simultaneously: P0014 and P0342. The vehicle is running extremely rich, showing poor fuel mixture, and struggles to respond to throttle input. This has made the car increasingly unreliable and frustrating to drive. I suspect a timing or sensor issue related to these codes, but I'm not sure what's causing it.
