2001 Nissan Altima P0640 Code: Causes and Symptoms - Car Won't Stay Running
I'm experiencing a P0640 fault code on my 2001 Nissan Altima, and my car's RPM stays extremely low—making it impossible to keep the engine running. When I turn the key, the engine starts but immediately cuts off. Could this be related to the fuel level sensor or is there another underlying issue? I've already replaced the catalytic converter, flex pipe O2 sensor, and knock sensor with no improvement. The car also shows other codes: P325 and P731. Any insight into what might be causing this behavior?
P0640 indicates a fault in the Intake Air Heater Control Circuit. This could affect engine temperature regulation, potentially contributing to unstable idle or engine shutdowns.
