Hi, I recently had my front axle and brakes repaired. Could this work have caused the appearance of these diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs): P1747, P0743, P0750, P0760, and P1451? Thank you, Botelho's

Can I still drive my 2001 Mercury Sable with these codes? What are the risks of continuing to operate the vehicle?

I have a P1451 code on my 2001 Mercury Sable. I replaced the EGR vacuum purge valve, but the issue persists. Voltage readings show 12.25V on the right side and 0.03V on the left. I've also inspected all vacuum hoses connected to the valve. What should I check next? Are there any known wiring or sensor issues related to this code?

The vent solenoid should read battery voltage (12V) on both sides until the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) provides a ground for testing or purging. During normal operation, the vent is open and no ground signal is sent from the PCM. For wiring diagrams and troubleshooting steps, refer to: http://www.bbbind.com/free-tsb A P1451 code may indicate one or more of the following issues: - Open VPWR circuit - Damaged canister vent solenoid - Vent solenoid circuit open or shorted to ground, power, etc. - Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM) For more details: https://www.obd2info.com/p1451-ford
