I've been experiencing an intermittent P1556 fault on my 2001 Jetta TDI, which is accompanied by a noticeable loss of engine power when the code activates. The diagnostic trouble code P1556 is listed as 'charge pressure negative deviation'. I'm looking for clarification on what this means and how to diagnose or fix it.
