2001 Ford E350 V10 Random Misfire Code P0300 - How to Fix After Battery Disconnection and Fuel Pump Replacement

Model: 2001 Ford E350 V10 Fault Code: P0300 Posted: 2014-05-03 14:45

Hi, I own a 2001 Ford E350 V10. Recently, I replaced the fuel pump and disconnected the battery for maintenance. Since then, the vehicle has triggered Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0300 — indicating a random misfire. I drove the van over 100 miles to reset the engine control module (ECM), but it now displays 'Random Misfire Detected'. I'm not sure what steps to take next to resolve this issue. Any advice on diagnosing or fixing the P0300 code in a 2001 Ford E350 V10 would be greatly appreciated.

Perform a fuel pressure test and a pressure leak-down test. Share your results. Is the misfire noticeable? Is drivability affected (e.g., poor acceleration, rough idle)? Are there any other diagnostic codes or related issues present?
