2001 Chrysler 300M Transmission Codes P0731, P0732, P0733, P0740, P1782: Can a Pressure Solenoid Fix Gear Ratio Errors?

Model: 2001 Chrysler 300M Fault Code: P0731 Posted: 2016-03-02 10:08

Hello everyone, My name is Mike, and I own a 2001 Chrysler 300M that has recently triggered multiple transmission error codes: P0731, P0732, P0733, P0740, and P1785. The P0731, P0732, and P0733 codes indicate incorrect gear ratio readings, while P1782 points to a faulty pressure switch solenoid. P0740 indicates a TCC (Torque Converter Clutch) malfunction. My question is: Could either the TCC issue or the pressure solenoid failure be directly causing the gear ratio errors? I was advised by a transmission shop that the entire transmission needs replacement, but I'm wondering if simply replacing the pressure solenoid might resolve these issues. Is there any technical insight on whether these components are linked to the gear ratio faults? Any experience or advice from owners of 2001 Chrysler 300M with similar codes would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
