Hello, I'm experiencing increasing engine noise at idle in my 2001 Chevrolet Sillhouette minivan. After taking it to AutoZone, the technician diagnosed a OBD-II fault code P1404. I'm seeking clarification on what this code means and whether it's related to voltage issues or another mechanical problem. From initial research, it seems P1404 is linked to EGR system performance—specifically indicating that the EGR valve is not in the correct closed position during idle.
