P0102 OBD2 Code on 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo with 3.4L Engine: Causes and Fixes
I recently encountered a P0102 diagnostic trouble code after replacing the air filter in my 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo equipped with a 3.4L engine. The check engine light was not initially illuminated, and I have previously replaced the air filter multiple times without issues. I installed a Fram air filter, but the P0102 code appeared afterward. I've verified that all wiring connections to the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor are intact—power, ground, and signal circuit from MAF to Powertrain Control Module (PCM) are functioning properly. Despite this, the issue persists. Any insights or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.
