2001 Buick Internal Mode Switch P1336
On my 2001 Buick, the starter tests okay, everything else is good, but no current goes to the starter solenoid from the ignition switch. A code is set which I don't have on my list. Can you tell me what P1336 code is? I suspect the Neutral/Park switch, which on 2001 and later is the IMS. Thanks, Eddie Hollett
DTC P1336 Crankshaft Position (CKP) System Variation Not Learned. did you change components on vehicle? recent work? That code would NOT prevent starter operation... Do you have remote starter - allways first suspect, very problematic. for more help we will need- model, engine, trans, history etc.
