2000 NO SPARK AND THE CODE P DONE COMES

Does the check engine light come on when you turn the run position? Does it crank after you cycle the key 3 times?

It will crank over, but there is not spark and the check engine light does not come on...

if the check engine light is not illuminated it normally means the pcm is not communicating, often times on that truck the crank sensors shorts causing the pcm bus to shut down and then of course no spark! you can try disconnectting the crank sensor when the light is out and then try to start the truck. of course it won't start but if the pcm stays on line with it disconnectted then it's a likely scenario. Coils are anohter known issue on the magnum series of engines causing weak or no spark but shouldn't effect the cel. If you're going to buy a crank sensor I;d suggest a part from the dealer as I've had several brand new aftermarket ones fail directly after install or soon after. If this is the case unplug the cranksensor and see if the check engine light will come back on ,the sensor will short and pull down the rest of the system.
