2000 Jeep Cherokee P0122 and P0123 After Water Ingestion - Diagnosis and Fixes

Model: 2000 Jeep Cherokee Fault Code: P0122 Posted: 2009-06-06 13:22

My 2000 Jeep Cherokee was submerged in deep water, causing water to enter the intake system and resulting in engine failure. I have already replaced the starter, coil pack, spark plugs, crankshaft position sensor (CPS), cam position sensor (CMP), and drained all water from the cylinders. The throttle position sensor (TPS) and idle air control (IAC) units were cleaned. After these repairs, the vehicle started but now shows OBD2 trouble codes P0122 and P0123. Voltage readings from the TPS harness are within specifications. Before replacing the TPS or IAC, I'm seeking advice—could this be related to a clockspring issue? Any other potential causes or diagnostic steps for these specific codes in a 2000 Jeep Cherokee?
