2000 Ford Focus SE P1451 DTC: Evaporative Emission System Circuit Malfunction Diagnosis

I own a 2000 Ford Focus SE equipped with a 2.0L SOHC engine. The vehicle has triggered a P1451 Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC), indicating an evaporative system circuit malfunction. I have already replaced both the vapor canister purge solenoid (located under the car, inside the vapor canister) and the vapor canister purge valve (mounted on the right-hand firewall). After replacing each component individually, the P1451 code persists. What other potential causes could be responsible? And is this issue generally easy to diagnose and repair?
