Yeah it involves the transmission controls and if ignored will burn the tranny up! Get it to the dealer or a good transmission shop! It's not diy'er type work. If you're a self admitted mechanical moron then you're in over your head definetly with this one. Don't ignore it! For that matter don't ignore any check engine light! Get them fixed or learn how to fix them! It's meant to give you a heads up that your vehicle is requiring attention in a system and or is polluting! No reason you need to be doing more damage to it or polluting everyone's environment because of lack of knowledge!
