Model: 2000 Chevy Blazer 4.3 Fault Code: P1351 Posted: 2007-11-12 12:07

I have a 2000 Blazer 4x4 4.3 w type engine and I have a trouble code p1351. I have replace all of the timing components sensors, modules, coil, distributor, camshaft positon sensor, crankshaft position sensor, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor but the problem still exsits. It seems like im getting fire and gas but the truck just wont catch and crank. Some one told me to try the computer next I wanted to know what would be the next step because Im all burnt out. I've tried everything from resteting the timint and all but nothing seems to help. The truck just doesnt want to crank. I would appreciate it if someone new what the problem is and would give me a little help.

Just to be clear, you mean the vehicle cranks okay, but won't start? Or does it crank sluggishly? From your post, you're problem isn't clear. Repost.

If it doesn't start how do you reset the timing? Are you sure the crank sensor and distributor are correct?

The vehicle cranks fine but it just won't start. We have checked to see if the feul presure is fine its putting out 60psi and we checked to see if it was getting spark and it is its just not starting up at all. We put on all of the sensors, a new distributor, and everything but it just will not catch and start all it will do is zoo over and thats it. We have reset the timing multiple times but nothing seems to work. Someone told me the computer could be messing up on it, I just want to know if thats true or if anyone can help me narrow it down to get it fixed.

Is the coil and it's circuit good? How are you checking the timing when it won't start or are you referring to distributor orientation! On those caps where it's supposed to point isn't the #1 wire on the cap! I suggest towing it to a shop at this point, I doubt the pcm is the issue! If it creates spark then it should start! if it won't then the spark is too weak or it's timed wrong!
