2000 Chevrolet Blazer P0134 and P1133 Error Codes: O2 Sensor Fix Guide

Model: 2000 chevrolet blazer Fault Code: P0134 Posted: 2014-02-18 20:47

I recently purchased a 2000 Chevrolet Blazer with approximately 60-70 miles on the odometer. After driving it briefly, two diagnostic error codes appeared: P0134 and P1130. The vehicle is equipped with a 4.3L engine. The issue is now whether I should replace the oxygen sensor, and if so, which one — specifically, upstream or downstream (before or after the catalytic converter)? I'm looking for clear guidance on how to diagnose and resolve these codes without unnecessary repairs. Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

O2 Sensor - Bank 1 Sensor 1 (Upstream, Driver's Side) Check the circuit connections: Tan/White and Ground, as well as Purple/White and Ground. Also inspect the sensor itself. If the O2 sensor is faulty, it's recommended to replace it with a dealer-grade unit rather than an aftermarket one for reliability. Good luck — please update us on your progress.
