Hello everyone, I'm currently dealing with a P0403 diagnostic trouble code on my 2000 Chevrolet Camaro. I recently replaced the EGR valve, and after clearing the code, a new P0403 appeared. Despite the replacement, the issue persists. What steps should I take to resolve this? Are there common causes or potential wiring issues that could be contributing to the problem?

Inspect the EGR valve wiring harness and connector for damage or loose connections. It's possible you have a defective (even if newly installed) EGR valve. Also, confirm whether the replacement was from an authorized dealer or aftermarket source.
