P0157 Bank 2 Sensor 2 Fault in 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 6.0L - No Intake/Exhaust Leaks After Valve Job
I recently completed a valve job on my 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 6.0L engine. Since the repair, the only fault code appearing is P0157 (HO2S Circuit Low Voltage - Bank 2 Sensor 2). I replaced the post-cat oxygen sensor on the passenger side, but the code persists. All intake and exhaust gaskets were replaced during the valve job, so there should be no leaks. The engine runs smoothly with no signs of running lean or other related issues. However, I'm still unable to resolve this P0157 code. Any advice on next steps? Does this point to a faulty sensor, wiring issue, or another component?
DTC P0157 - HO2S Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 2) First clarification: Bank 2 refers to the passenger side. Are there any other diagnostic codes present? A scan tool with live data would be highly useful here. Do you have access to such a device?
