Despite this repair, the issue remains unresolved. What other potential causes could be responsible? Could it be related to wiring, grounding, or sensor compatibility? Ensure you're not overfilling the fuel tank. When the gas station pump automatically stops, it means the tank is full—overfilling can damage the sensor or cause erratic readings. Also, avoid running the tank too low, as this may trigger sensor errors. Use a digital volt-ohmmeter (DVOM) to check wiring continuity and voltage signals. What brand of fuel level sending unit did you install? Was it a direct-fit replacement?

I replaced the entire tank-mounted unit with a Bosch fuel sender. I’ve never filled up the tank completely, so I suspect the issue might be related to wiring or signal integrity. Additionally, I currently have a P1451 code from the EVAP system, and despite replacing multiple components in that system, the code remains. This suggests possible shared circuit issues or faulty connections between systems.
