1997 Pontiac Grand Am P0137 Fault: O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
My check engine light recently came on and the diagnostic code displayed is P0137 — indicating a low voltage issue in the Oxygen Sensor Circuit for Bank 1, Sensor 2. Any advice or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated? I've also noticed a gasoline odor occasionally, but I don't believe there's any fuel leakage in my vehicle.
Inspect the engine harness main connector for loose or damaged wiring. In several cases, the cable has broken off at the plug connections, leading to intermittent signals and triggering the P0137 code.
