PDF refers to Differential Pressure Feedback sensor, not DPF. While Ford trucks commonly have a DPF system, Chevrolet models typically do not. This may explain why the dealer couldn't identify it.

Chevrolet does not use a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) in its gasoline-powered vehicles like the 1997 Lumina. That system is specific to diesel engines, primarily found in Ford and other brands.

If your 1997 Lumina has a 3.1L engine, the issue might be carbon buildup in the intake manifold port.
