1997 Chevrolet Lumina P0401 Code: Causes and Fixes After EGR Replacement
My 1997 Chevrolet Lumina is showing a P0401 diagnostic trouble code after I replaced the EGR valve. The check engine light returns once I clear the code. I've read that this could be related to the Differential Pressure Feedback (DPF) sensor, but when I contacted NAPA and my local Chevrolet dealer, neither could identify what exactly this part is. Is there a more widely recognized name or common reference for this component in GM vehicles? Any insights on possible causes or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.
PDF refers to Differential Pressure Feedback sensor, not DPF. While Ford trucks commonly have a DPF system, Chevrolet models typically do not. This may explain why the dealer couldn't identify it.
