1996 Chrysler Sebring P1389 Diagnostic Trouble Code - Won't Start After Replacing ECU and Sensors
I recently replaced the engine control unit (ECU), ignition coil, crankshaft position sensor, and all associated tune-up components. Despite these repairs, my 1996 Chrysler Sebring still won't start and only responds to ether. The onboard diagnostic system shows trouble codes P1389, P0118, P0122, and P0106. I took the vehicle to a local Chrysler dealership, but they charged over $500 for diagnosis and repair—feeling it was unnecessary or inflated. Can anyone provide insight into what these codes mean and how to resolve them? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Could you specify which engine variant (e.g., 2.2L, 2.5L) your 1996 Sebring is equipped with? This helps narrow down potential causes for P138或P0118 and related codes.
