1996 Lumina 3.1 Code P0300, 98,000 miles
Heater hose ruptured near firewall and car was driven after overheating. Now Check Engine light is steadily blinking. Car runs but is erratic. Codes are as follows: 2 Codes P0300 P0300PD Milon Monitrs 3inc Catlyst 02 Sensr EGR 4 Ready Misfire Fuel Comp 02 Htr Also: 2 of ignition coil tops are rusty. (probably from overheating issue). I am considering replacing plugs, wires and coil packs however if I can determine that the damage is worse than that, I might junk the car. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Being that it suffered a hard overheat and then it now has a flashing cel misfire I'd doubt it's only an ignition issue and more likely an engine issue, which would in my book given the age of the vehicle grounds to junk it!
