1996 GMC Yukon P0151 P0131 P0300 - Engine Dies on Acceleration, Flooding, and Pulsating While Driving
My 1996 GMC Yukon is showing fault codes P0151, P0131, and P0300. When I accelerate, the engine floods and dies. While driving, it suddenly shuts off and requires me to stop and restart the vehicle before it will run again. Over the past two days, I've noticed a pulsating sensation while driving—this occurred after driving through deep snow. I have already replaced the oxygen sensors (4), catalytic converter, MAF sensor, air filter, fuel pump (twice), and fuel filter. I also tightened the exhaust manifold connection, which resolved the lean-related codes. A pinched wire in one of the fuel injectors was identified and repaired. There is a known radiator leak that I need to fix, but I'm running out of funds and currently only add antifreeze when it gets low. Despite these efforts, the issue persists. Any advice on diagnosing or fixing this would be greatly appreciated.
Is the fuel pressure dropping when the ignition key is turned off? This could indicate a faulty fuel pump or regulator, especially if the engine floods and dies during acceleration.
