1996 Explorer P0420 & P0300

Model: 1996 Explorer Fault Code: P0300 Posted: 2007-12-08 09:50

I have the 4.0 engine in the 4x4 4-door model. I replaced the EGR valve, the module that regulates it, my converter and O2 sensor on the converter. I still get the "efficiency below threshhold" code and now the misfire code. The truck runs the balls and has power. Help!

lots of aftermarket converters will throw that code!

So what do I do? Clear the code and see if it comes back?

you take it back to where you bought that converter or had it installed, pitch a fit and get your money back or a better conveter installed!
