Bank 1 Sensor 2 High Voltage, 08 caliber

Model: 08 caliber Fault Code: P0135 Posted: 2014-07-08 01:31

This code showed up about 2 weeks ago and since then i have replaced the sensor 3 times. 2 times with a bosh and once with an actual mopar one i got from a dealership. With the bosh's the code came back up almost instantly but with the mopar it stayed off for around 120 miles before it came back on. Also now my etc light has come on and is really causing problems. So 1 any ideas on the 02 sensor, and 2 can the 02 sensor and the etc problems be related?

Regarding high voltage of sensor check heater v short to sensor. Don't know of a relationship between the two problems but that blinking ETC light problem shows up on many other forums. Can't give you any specific help sorry.

I think CJ suggests checking the o2 sensor HEATER circuit for short to teh sensor signal of the o2 sensor- Somehow I got a mental image of vehicle HVAC heater wiring- The ETC is flashing - you will need a scanner capable of accessing the ETC/ABS module - not the often used DIYer type...
