07 duramax cab & chassis, throwing codes; po087,po128, po672,po673,po676,po671...the main concern is the po087 code.trouble diagnosing the problem. w/o scan tool narrowed down to cp3 fuel pump/ or small outside chance of the rail pressure sensor faulty.truck has 135,200miles
I bought the truck used comma who ever before me installed AFE cold air induction as well as an after-market exhaust-after the factory headers- an "msbp" exhaust muffler, about 5" diameter, with the tip pointing down extending just past the cab. that's the only noticeable aftermarket performance parts
I will add the truck- for all intents and purposes-would" s**t and get" when you mashed down on it. Now if you mash down on it it will throw p0087 and revert to a" limp "mode. I don't drive it like a race car ... just saying

Tough to do without scanner or the digital pressure gauge.... IDK - a short cut or trick sorry Might look at relief valve... The glow plugs - check GP 1ohm or less. P0128 - Has me asking is this a stock vehicle no BS - proms, chips, power enhancing devices, modifications?
