2006 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L: P0404, P0440, P0441, P0446, P0100, P0400, P0048 - Multiple OBD2 Codes & Electrical Symptoms
I'm looking for help with my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan 3.3L (180,000 km). The check engine light came on unexpectedly while driving to church. After scanning the vehicle, I received several OBD2 fault codes: P0440, P0480, P0404, P0441, P0446, P0100, P0400, and P0048. I initially replaced the radiator fan fuse (which triggered a P0480), and after that, the code disappeared. However, new codes appeared: P0440, P0404, P0441, P0446, P0100, and P0400. I'm experiencing several symptoms: - The radio turns on and off randomly (only works for about 5 minutes every 2 weeks) - The rear wiper operates only halfway before requiring manual reset - When driving uphill, I notice a significant loss of power - Fuel consumption seems to increase noticeably during short trips I suspect an EGR-related issue but want to confirm if this is likely or if there's another common cause. Additionally, the airbag warning light comes on occasionally (1–5 minutes) and stays lit. I've cleaned battery terminals and replaced BCM #1 fuse with no improvement. I'm hoping this is a single, relatively simple and inexpensive fix—like an EGR valve issue—or at least want to understand what these codes might indicate. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
I'll investigate common root causes for multiple OBD2 codes appearing simultaneously, especially after a normal drive session—no prior issues or changes were noted.
