-_-

They can’t find jurors, everyone hates Leon.

LiquidJ_2k 2026-03-08 10:56

"Miss Trial" is the name of one of the underage, scantily-clad girls that he asks Grok to generate for him.

hippotango 2026-03-08 12:44

This boils down to "people don't like my client, so there has to be a mistrial".

fossilnews 2026-03-08 13:46

Make the whole hate you and never face trial. Judges hate this one trick!

neonmantis 2026-03-08 15:03

It is a weird modern phenomena now that it may no longer be possible to find representative groups of people who can impartialy judge someone like Musk. He's a hard guy not to have an opinion on, and anyone who doesn't know him is likely a little secluded and not exactly representative if you stuff a jury full of them. What now?

El_Trauco 2026-03-08 16:45

Maybe have Grok choose the jurors? /s What could go wrong?

I’ve never thought of this but it’s a very good point. You either get super fans or humans that can think. Either way it’s biased.

readit145 2026-03-08 18:26

“Well your honor. Everyone wants my client in jail so he can’t go to jail”

Coolidge30 2026-03-08 18:36

His journey is so strange. He started out as loved by some, respected by most and hated by a few. He moved to generally disliked and even the people that still like him still find him odd and weird

Spirited-Print-1097 2026-03-08 18:49

Only explanation he is a product of his upbringing. Born & raised in South Africa, entitled rich kid.

EverythingMustGo95 2026-03-08 22:16

It would choose Nazis, which would be a very sympathetic jury.

You have to love the contrast between Elon posting on Twitter and Elon in the court room. On Twitter he'll claim the majority of people agree with him about everything and anyone who doesn't is some paid ActBlue operative or something. He'll also make huge claims as an absolute unarguable fact that have no basis like this about bots on Twitter that'll get him into trouble then turn around and say it can't possibly damage a company because no one actually believes what he says and if they do its their own fault. Somehow Tesla's captured board of directors will insist the company can't run without his stewardship, steady hand and technical brilliance but in court well he's just a guy who really has no basis for anything he says and anyone who somehow got the impression that he does is so stupid that you can't even consider them a reasonable person.

neonmantis 2026-03-09 01:20

Fortunately war crimes trials typically don't use a jury

ScoobyGDSTi 2026-03-09 02:07

Seems accurate.

ScoobyGDSTi 2026-03-09 02:08

No, he was always despised by those that knew his history. Only the sheep fell for his PR blitz.

tanbyte 2026-03-09 04:20

Quick give up

pandershrek 2026-03-09 04:38

All a strategy from that Nazi bullshit

art-is-t 2026-03-09 04:38

I want Elon to suffer

jmcomms 2026-03-09 05:55

I'm surprised Elon hasn't gone down the sovereign citizen route as it would be perfectly up his street.

rdu3y6 2026-03-09 11:17

I read it as Mistrial thinking it was a name pronounced Miss-tree-al!

rdu3y6 2026-03-09 11:18

So basically Musk can now get away with any scam, fraud or other crime because he's so universally hated.

skipperseven 2026-03-09 13:04

If the defence can’t find an acceptable jury, can’t they request a bench trial, where the judge decides the verdict? Edit: looked it up, both parties have to agree to a bench trial…
