Nobody has commented yet, so I thought I'd give a layman's TLDR: A 22 year old woman was killed and a man seriourly injured - a jury ordered TSLA to pay almost a quarter billion dollars, and TSLA wants a new trial. A Branch Elonian blasted through an intersection at 62 mph, running a stop sign and then a red light (while reaching down to pick up his cellphone)...he smashed into a parked SUV. The crux of TSLA's argument (contrary to all advertising and evangelizing on the topic): Autopilot is intended for “fully attentive” drivers, so not TSLA's fault - no take backs. This happened in 2019 - I don't know which version of the grift was active at this time (TSLA argued AP at the time did not stop at stop signs), but it really doesn't matter - the faked 2016 Paint it Black video clearly shows a car stopping at stop signs - this played heavily in court, and I believe Ashok Elluswamy's testimony is how we now know for sure the video was 100% faked. I asked ChatGPT and Grok whether or not TSLA was responsible for this death - the answers were as expected.
