Shares in the automaker have declined eight percent in the five days since Musk's regular correspondence with the convicted sex offender were publicized — exposing Musk's previous claims that he had nearly no contact with Epstein. It’s the very last thing Tesla needs right now, amid a massive brand hit because of its CEO's noxious politics, a disastrous 61 percent drop in fourth quarter profits compared to a year prior, and growing competition from rivals on multiple continents.

rekiem87 2026-02-06 15:10

It is nothing, they do not care, it is still above 400 on meme fundamentals

Leather_Floor8725 2026-02-06 15:12

8% drop is like Tuesday for RIVN

LVegasGuy 2026-02-06 15:13

Tesla stock has been in decline since the middle of December when it was close to $500. It is now $407.

motionbutton 2026-02-06 15:14

down 5% over a month, yet Microsoft is down 17%.. Plummeting is not the word I would use. It seems like it is just following the market. This stock has no understanding of reality.

buldozr 2026-02-06 15:15

Time for Fox News analysts to say it's "best time to buy" again? And maybe daddy Trump will buy a Cybertruck in a televised performance on the White House lawn.

Bagafeet 2026-02-06 15:15

It dropped below 400 today for a bit. It will be folded into Space X too in a couple of years.

eeweewllams 2026-02-06 15:17

He did a nazi salute on stage. Can you tell me what happened to the stock price in the following months…oh that’s right up almost 60%. Elons social actions have proven time and time again they have little bearing on the actual company. They are about as meaningful as the actual companies financial performance and if anything Reddit perceives as adverse behavior is a buy signal for his stock. He is a hype man and as long as he keeps pretending that he has a crazy vision of future state the stock will be fine

octorock4prez 2026-02-06 15:22

Revenue was down 47% in the last earnings call, and of that remaining revenue 50% of it was environmental credits that will no longer exist. 72% down in revenue overall and the stock was down about 3% with a PE currently at 381:1. I tried shorting this about a year ago and got burned.

MeThinksYes 2026-02-06 15:24

Sell elon robot vapourware buy elon space vapourware?

Electrik_Truk 2026-02-06 15:31

Poor Rivian... No one likes a car company that has a solid focus anymore. I do think their R2 platform will be a shift for them tho, in terms of deliveries and future valuation.

HushHushHero 2026-02-06 15:32

You reverse jinxed it.

thederevolutions 2026-02-06 15:35

Jesus Christ

Theferael_me 2026-02-06 15:36

I think it's because, as the Third Reich showed us \[again\], there are no ethics in big business. Nothing matters beyond the bottom line. *Nothing*.

Facktat 2026-02-06 15:36

And this while I honestly find the Bill Gates revelations like one of the least concerning information from the files. First Bill Gates doesn't have any executive position at Microsoft anymore since 2020 second, him getting an STD from some Russian prostitute is quite lame compared to Musk specifically asking to visit the wildest party on the Epstein islands.

[deleted] 2026-02-06 15:36

swastikas on wheels

ircsmith 2026-02-06 15:37

6% is not a plummet. Should be 66%. Lying whacked out Ketamine pedo that he is deserves nothing. Too harsh?

eeweewllams 2026-02-06 15:39

If bottom line mattered stock would have cratered with the past 2 earnings. The thing that matters with this stock is how much hype Elon can promise. Doesn’t need to actually prove it fully, just tease it slightly and tell your shareholders the vision and the stock goes up even as sales in your core business decline

BenPennington 2026-02-06 15:40

I made my money (sold out at $420.69/share after 13 years of ownership) and I couldn't care less

mishap1 2026-02-06 15:41

It's also a weird email that Epstein wrote and sent to himself as some kind of a reminder/draft rather than an email from Gates to Epstein. Elon asking for the wildest party on the island is so much grosser/sadder and yet far less of a surprise.

[deleted] 2026-02-06 15:44

That dude is responsible for this mess, we don't want him around.

joeythemouse 2026-02-06 15:45

Not harsh.

kneejerk2022 2026-02-06 15:45

It's a good thing this sub doesn't allow images.

motionbutton 2026-02-06 15:48

Microsoft also dipped before the file release. Tesla will have its day of reckoning, but not from this. Probably once the robots miss the launch and then start messing shit up

Theferael_me 2026-02-06 15:50

Not really. TSLA makes people money. Whether it sells cars or robots or Musk's demented promises, it makes people rich, and that's all that matters.

[deleted] 2026-02-06 15:51

I can't stand that dumb bitch.

RulerOfSlides 2026-02-06 15:52

Ew, thank you.

Perfect-Top-7555 2026-02-06 15:53

Meme fundamentals 😂

eeweewllams 2026-02-06 15:59

Yeah they are making money but way less in 25 vs 24. So just based on trending that with the stock price I was suggesting that this companies actual financials have minimal bearing on the actual stock price. All I am saying is other tech/car companies definitely have much higher correlation with their actual stock performance and the financials whereas TSLA seems much less correlated on financials

wesweb 2026-02-06 16:04

its up $12 today

Jaguarmadillo 2026-02-06 16:09

PhilosopherFearless8 2026-02-06 16:09

Sweetlittle66 2026-02-06 16:12

I have massive sympathy for the short sellers. Not wrong, just early, but it's the same thing.

kaesylvri 2026-02-06 16:16

...plummeting... it did the usual buoy bob. Literally nothing has changed.

FalardeauDeNazareth 2026-02-06 16:17

It's "only" up 45% in 5 years. It's now a steady underperformer, despite its overvaluation leaving a lot of room to move towards bottom.

esteban-colberto 2026-02-06 16:20

Pedon Musk Enonce Musk

ConversationTimely91 2026-02-06 16:21

You should check more trading patterns. I think this time it is going as it should. That means it will plummet once pattern is registered. It is meme stock and people are scared of this stock. And if it is meme, then you should rely more for technical analysis.

daototpyrc 2026-02-06 16:22

Sadder? The guy is cringe. Let that sink in.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-06 16:38

I would hardly say it's \*plummeting\*, and ATM it's up over 3% for the day. Looking at the long term though, it is starting to see a downward trend. When it cracks 390, it's going to plummet. Based upon reality it should be closer to $3.90 though.

agentdrozd 2026-02-06 16:41

Wishful thinking

boogermike 2026-02-06 16:41

I sold the last of my TSLA (bought many years ago, at a super low cost basis), last week (I had to wait until 2026 for tax reasons, because I sold a bunch last year). I sold at $438, which was great (though not the highest which was $490 something). Anyway, I will be the smuggest person in the world and tell this story to EVERYONE, if I sold it at the high (for now).

boogermike 2026-02-06 16:42

Hereby cosigned. But sadly, because I once was a big fan (of Tesla).

Itchy-Throat-4779 2026-02-06 16:43

SpaceX hasn't even turned a profit.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-06 16:45

Eventually the "investors" who are gambling on the Greater Fool Theory will start to get nervous about the bubble and start unloading, which is appears a few of the smarter ones are already doing. It only a matter of time until the fear reaches critical mass and the bubble bursts. We are also due anytime now to see something similar with the AI bubble.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-06 16:46

Yep, timing is everything and the last thing I would want to do is risk being burning on a short where the potential gain is finite but the potential for loss infinite.

jasnel 2026-02-06 16:47

Up 3.62% to $411.58 as if this comment. Up 28% in the last six months.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-06 16:50

The huge rise makes sense given that he had just acquired access to the White House that could result in governmafia contracts. Still you are right, the stock is mostly running under Full Self Delusion that there is still money to be made. It's a self-fulfilling prophecy that works well, until it doesn't.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-06 16:52

It doesn't make anyone any money until it's cashed out. At some point there will be more cashing out than cashing in, then we'll see who the winners and losers are.

motionbutton 2026-02-06 16:53

It is crazy how profits no longer matter in the stock market... Like I looking at his net worth.. Between SpaceX and Tesla profits (\~12 billion), it would take 66+ years to equal what his networth is estimated to be right now.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-06 16:54

If TSLA's price was based on fundamentals it would be about $15, and falling given the news about plummeting sales and insane promises of vaporware.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-06 16:54

Put it back on the pink sheets.

beren12 2026-02-06 16:56

He’s a pedophile. He should sink in.

mishap1 2026-02-06 16:56

That forward PE ratio is amazing. At their \~400 share price, they'd have to \~20x their earnings to $80B/yr just to be at a reasonable PE.

Salt-Analysis1319 2026-02-06 16:57

Tesla is a CAR company until proven otherwise. Their CAR sales are down two years in a row. Profit down 46%. Cybertruck was a flop. Model S and X canceled. Sales plummeting in Europe. Their core business is being completely eroded by incumbents from all over the world, especially China. They are facing down safety lawsuits from FSD and electronic door handles - and China just banned flush doorhandles. Elon in the files. XAI raided in France. Space X buying Cybertrucks to pad Tesla delivery numbers. Roadster is vaporware. Optimus is not doing any useful work. Robotaxis facing harsh competition from Waymo, as well as their own safety scandals. And that's just what I'm remembering off the top of my head. If the stock market had an ounce of rationality it would not be propping up this stock.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-06 16:58

Bubbles come and go. It's always been that way. Money does not disappear however. When the bubble pops the money will go into the next mindless investor frenzy. If I had to guess right now, I would say precious metals are next. In fact that bubble has already started.

FlipZip69 2026-02-06 17:02

you pick a small point but it has been steadily falling. It is at a point it was in 2022 no less. Tesla has been a crappy investment since about 2022 to tell the truth. Was at 460 a few months ago and at the 400 mark.

No-Incident-9226 2026-02-06 17:03

Not meme fundamentals, manipulation. Musk is doing what Bill Whang did, but worse.

FlipZip69 2026-02-06 17:04

Hey there was 5 guys working on some robot in a 'factory' environment floating around last week. That has to mean something???

motionbutton 2026-02-06 17:08

I didn't pick the point, the article picked that point.

duncansmydog 2026-02-06 17:12

Its true value is around $30/share at most.

Overall_Curve6725 2026-02-06 17:16

Musk is a pathological liar

FlipZip69 2026-02-06 17:18

I realize that but that is one of the reason Tesla maintains stupid valuation. Microsoft is a steady climb and it actually makes profit to justify the valuation. You could say it is also over valued but not by much. But ever time Tesla declines, someone finds some other company and suggest but it was not as bad as xyz. Tesla on the other hand makes $1 dollar per year per share with a 400 dollar valuation. It is amazing the number of investors that do not understand that buy one share of Tesla is like giving someone 400 dollars and getting 1 dollar a year back in interest. (And you likely will never get the full 400 dollars back).

DotJun 2026-02-06 17:26

I see what you did there 😉

samdeed 2026-02-06 17:26

Figures it jumps 4% today (when the market is up 1.5%).

Reddit-for-all 2026-02-06 17:34

And yet it's up 4.20% so far today. Tesla is a meme stock, and is completely untethered from reality. As long as there is a cult of Elon this stock will be at ridiculous value. He, like Trump, could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and the stock would go up. We live in Idiocracy manifest.

dsdvbguutres 2026-02-06 17:40

Another way to interpret this could be Tesla investors don't care that their CEO is an Epsteiner as much as Microsoft investors

Plummeting , is not the word anyone would use. Unfortunately it seems like everybody’s into ragebait headlines whether they are a YouTuber or work for the mainstream media it’s all about the clicks and rage

Opcn 2026-02-06 18:06

Tesla is definitely in the fuzzy zone between greater fool speculation and honest stupid optimism. When companies like theranos shot up in valuation it wasn’t all speculation about what greater fool they would offload onto, it was that what she was promising was a major leap forward in diagnostics. Tesla really did have the absolute best in the world high performance EV months before Musk was involved. They brought something real to market and people get wrapped up in thinking they are going to do that again.

DistributedView 2026-02-06 18:25

Market cap is up a lot more than 45% though.

Opcn 2026-02-06 18:37

It does and it doesn’t. A lot of our collective wealth is assets marked to market. There are about 20 million bitcoins with an all time high market cap around 2.5 trillion dollars. Those people had assets worth a lot of money, but if it goes to zero the money they spent buying in doesn’t disappear because it was already received by the people who sold it to them and spent on other things like mining rigs and electric service or sports cars and prostitutes depending on if they were miners or speculators. If the bubble asset isn’t important (like beanie Babies) then it doesn’t really matter but if the bubble asset is a major source of collateral for credit through fractional reserve banking then that credit dries up and money really does disappear.

Opcn 2026-02-06 18:40

The Microsoft CEO is Satya Nadella and he didn’t show up in my search.

Plumetting for tsla would mean trading at a reasonnable pe ratio.

GiveMeSomeShu-gar 2026-02-06 22:10

>This stock has no understanding of reality. It's because it's based on a "dream" as promised by Musk... Auto sales falling worldwide? No problem - the dream has already shifted to Optimus. Stock goes up. When Optimus falters 5 years from now the dream will simply shift.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-07 00:20

They aren't even a car company. The cars have only been stage props to give the illusion of legitimacy to the ponzi stock scheme.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-07 00:20

Idiocracy^(3)

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-07 00:23

JTxFII 2026-02-07 00:56

It’s definitely bouncing off the rev limiter. Whoever is hanging onto it is just holding up the ceiling.

JTxFII 2026-02-07 01:04

He’s already shifting it to data centers in space, talking about doing hourly launches. It’s ludicrous but the hype is building for the SpaceX IPO. If he can pump SpaceX which apparently just absorbed xAI) enough, he’ll absorb Tesla as well and bury the losses in his new grift that should drag out for another 5 or 10 years.

JTxFII 2026-02-07 01:08

I’m pretty sure she’s tucking some junk down there.

I wish this was true, but everything plummeted yesterday. And today it's back up. This stock makes NO sense.

phillyphilly19 2026-02-07 01:25

Now that France is investigating Grok and indicting Musk I think we're nearing the edge of the cliff.

farsh_bjj 2026-02-07 02:27

He would have been better off paying taxes. The biggest fall from grace in ages.

SoulShatter 2026-02-07 02:55

My current guess is that Tesla will get its day in conjunction with the rest of the AI bubble. Tesla has hyped itself as a tech/AI company for a couple of years, so when the AI bubble goes, tech companies will probably take quite a hit as well. Musk is already circling his wagons somewhat - He had XAI buy X from him, and now SpaceX is buying XAI.

Moist_Farmer3548 2026-02-07 03:04

>Elon asking for the wildest party on the island is so much grosser/sadder and yet far less of a surprise. Yes, years after Epstein had already been in jail for child prostitution, bringing Musk's wife and Epstein kept him know the "ratios" might be a problem for his wife.  Sounds like he knew exactly what was planned on the island, not saying it was with underage girls but also can't rule it out. Lying shit denied involvement and had been caught out, but nothing is going to happen.  I hope some day they find the alleged video stash and expose all these fuckers for the lying shits we all know they are.

Flokitoo 2026-02-07 03:34

Did you miss the email Elon's brother sent thanking Jeff for the introduction to a girl and the reply reminding him that he shouldn't "mistreat" [Jeff's] girls? Or the email Jeff sent to Elon saying he has some interesting people staying for the UN Conference, Elon telling Jeff that's he's too busy running a multi billion dollar company to meet diplomats, Jeff replying they are under 25 and cute?

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-07 03:35

I think the two will be part of one big crash.

EtherealAriels 2026-02-07 04:12

Don't diddle kids then!

Broken_chairs 2026-02-07 04:30

Sadly I think this has more to do with investors diversifying away from US/big tech and being weary of Elon's jazz hands re. Robotics. Tesla is massively overvalued at a 350 price to earnings ratio and just announced it's shifting away from its core business model.

rangirocks12 2026-02-07 06:12

Maybe it’s because 2 Chinese companies now sell more EVs than Tesla. The car is outdated , poor quality and expensive. It’s being left behind

ParkerLewis31884 2026-02-07 07:04

Me too 😥 I bet again a little when it reached ~480 a couple months ago, but much less, couldn't afford it anymore. Even if sanity prevails and the stock does crater as it should, I probably won't recoup all previous losses.

Facktat 2026-02-07 10:54

Ah yeah, I completely forgot that. What rich people do to each other somehow completely falls out of my area of interest. For me it is always just relevant what they do to the lower 99% of the society. Billionaires do not need my empathy.

Spirited-Print-1097 2026-02-07 12:13

His refusal to use LIDAR has hobbled autonomous driving. This alone is good reason to dump the stock.

Prior-Flamingo-1378 2026-02-07 13:24

It’s being propped by institutional investors that fall into the musk trap early on.

Prior-Flamingo-1378 2026-02-07 13:30

At this point it’s literally too big to fail. It’s literally 5% of our gdp and it’s all lies. No one is letting that crash.   Back in 2008 the first two big companies that crashed hard was Bear and Lehman. Both of them combined had a market cap of maybe 80billion. Not 800.

Prior-Flamingo-1378 2026-02-07 13:35

It sure does. Institutional investors got duped by musk early on, invested a butt load of money and now they are propping the stock up because at this point if it crashes it wipes the entire USA economy.   Don’t believe me? The first large companies that crashed in the 2008 crisis was Bear and Lehman. They both had a market cap valuation of ~80 billion.   The entirety of potential losses from exposure to toxic financial assets was 1.3 trillion.  What’s the market cap of Tesla alone now?

DonAmecho777 2026-02-07 13:57

Well it was gonna be that or the drugs, what were shareholders thinking (I mean a lot of holders have it thru index funds and such oh well)

Prior-Flamingo-1378 2026-02-07 14:20

Tesla is not a car company. It’s a Ponzi scheme that got too big to fail.   If Tesla fails it will take the entire economy with it.   Back in 2008 bear and Lehman combined had a market cap of 80 billion. Not 1.3 trillion. The entirety of the potential loses from toxic assets then was 1.3 trillion.

Why 390?

Rude-Block 2026-02-07 20:30

Legit can’t tell what you’re arguing for. The first part says Elons brother did bad. Second part shows Elon didn’t even understand what the island he’s asking about even is. ??

Rude-Block 2026-02-07 20:33

So he knew about the island but asked to bring Taluluah, only for Jeff to say bringing Talulah is a bad idea. What kind of logic is this called?

Imper1um 2026-02-07 20:39

This stock has become completely detached from Tesla. * Nazi Salute on Stage...Twice? Stock goes up by 2%. * Earnings down, and also missed on Revenue targets? Stock goes up by 10%. * The entire way that Tesla was making money, Carbon Credits, gets discontinued? Stock goes up by 5% * Cyberdumpster fails? Stock goes up by 5%. Even this event here only led to a small dip, but its up 3.5% Today (as of posting). When OpenAI has to declare Chapter 11, bringing down Oracle and nVidia, forcing Musky boy's current cash cow, xAI, to fall along with it, I don't know if $TSLA will even fall more than 10%. I wish I could trace stock purchases. There's got to be some kind of thing holding this stock up, because it defies all precedent.

ConsiderationOwn2211 2026-02-07 22:01

Really? I’m up. You may not know what you’re talking about.

Flokitoo 2026-02-08 00:58

OK Elon... 1) yes, Kimbal Musk did bad but it further highlights the connections with Epstein by introducing Elon's inner most circle. Kimbal is said to be Elon's closest relationship. So while not conclusive, it makes it much more likely Elon was involved. 2) Elon is autistic. He's a bit slow on the uptake. I see this email showing 2 things: First, Epstein's attempt to be secretive about his parties. Second, Epstein's knowledge of Elon's interest in young women. (A convicted pedophile probably isnt inviting randos to parties with young women unless he knows the person is interested)

Salt-Analysis1319 2026-02-08 01:56

they are quite literally a car company. 90% of their revenue comes from selling, leasing, insuring, and servicing cars

DeepAd8888 2026-02-08 02:00

Busted for what

ryan_dfs 2026-02-08 02:24

It’s basically modern day Enron. Eventually people will lose everything, the only difference is that there were thousands of warning signs the whole time and everyone decided to ignore them.

Sockoflegend 2026-02-08 03:59

Do you think people are really hanging on for robots or is it just a full meme stock, absolutely detached from any business expectations?

octorock4prez 2026-02-08 04:06

It’s robots, and energy storage (mega pack and power walls). I don’t see how any of that justifies a trillion dollars valuation. Boston dynamics makes a better robot today, I don’t know the energy storage space well enough to comment. Waymo does create that kind of value for google and it arguably better. I don’t really understand how the value is propped up.

Nuts were busted

R0bsc0 2026-02-08 07:05

Epstein was a business man. He met and worked with thousands of people. One guy being a freak doesn’t mean everyone he’s ever spoken to was also a freak. Pretty sure being a psychopath isn’t contagious

Lonely-Corgi-983 2026-02-08 07:45

Yeah bad story. Should be plummeting

Lonely-Corgi-983 2026-02-08 07:46

Clearly Elon has a desire to rape minor girls

Lonely-Corgi-983 2026-02-08 07:47

Sounds like some sort of faux extortion attempt. Epstein was a complete pig

Opposite-Chemistry-0 2026-02-08 08:16

Nazi and a sexual criminal. Why would anyone want to support Tesla.

OPGuest 2026-02-08 08:28

For all we know the Russian prostitute was trafficked and underage. Gates is as guilty the next guy in the Epstein files.

Prior-Flamingo-1378 2026-02-08 09:41

Well yes but that is clearly not reflected in the market cap valuation is it?

Moist_Farmer3548 2026-02-08 10:18

Do you know what swingers are?

Facktat 2026-02-08 11:51

Was there any mentioning about this?

OPGuest 2026-02-08 12:25

There was no denial of it

holamau 2026-02-08 12:47

"plummeting"? it's +27% in the last six months, +14% in the last full year, +119% in the last two years. where is it plummeting? in the last week? The whole NASDAQ "plummeted" -2.77% in the last week, while TSLA followed closely at -3.47%. Plummeting.

holamau 2026-02-08 12:50

100%

Facktat 2026-02-08 13:10

Yeah, but Gates also isn't really part of the MAGA circle. Bill Gates is mostly considered liberal so I don't see the current DOJ helping him here.

Reasonable_Bath9878 2026-02-08 15:07

nazi stock by pedos, should freefall

namotous 2026-02-08 15:24

6% drop is nothing for this meme stock lol

Apexnanoman 2026-02-08 15:33

He'll promise flying bicycles or something next week and the price will jump 15%.

4Yk9gop 2026-02-08 19:01

Before I wasn't going to buy a Tesla because I don't support Nazis. Now I am not going to buy a Tesla because I don't support Nazis and I don't support pedos who participate in the trafficking of children. Also obligatory, he belongs in prison for securities fraud.

denvermatt 2026-02-08 20:43

It would plummet way more if that was a factor. It's a dip, the market is down. Look at silver and bitcoin. True "plummeting" is 100% down from december 2024 - march 2025.

blink_187em 2026-02-08 21:45

Dont forget, he leveraged TF out of Tesla shares to buy Twitter. If the EU kicksTwitter out, Elon's wealth plummets. I think they're also looking for evidence of election interference, since he was using Twitter to do that across the globe. This would destroy Elon, and bring down the whole MAGA house of cards in a way the US and our oligarchs can't get out of. If EU played hardball, we'd be fkd. "So, ur saying there's a chance" 🤞

DeepValueDiver 2026-02-08 23:56

In all fairness to Elon, whom I dislike personally, it sounds like he wanted in on the Epstein activities but they wouldn’t let him for some reason.

EventAccomplished976 2026-02-09 06:45

Tesla had the roadster, which was maybe the first truly desireable modern EV, but was also just a trch demo they somehow barely got on the road. Effectively it‘s a Lotus with a bunch of batteries stuffed wherever they would go. Tesla‘s transformative vehicle, the one that showed the world that EVs can be everyday cars and are more than just toys, was the Model S. And Elon was heavily involved in the development of that one.

EventAccomplished976 2026-02-09 06:46

Which means, not very guilty until there‘s some actual evidence?

callmechristianblack 2026-02-09 07:06

It might also have something to do with France threatening action against him for election interference. https://www.nbcnews.com/world/europe/france-paris-prosecutors-x-office-elon-musk-sexual-deepfakes-holocaust-rcna257202

OPGuest 2026-02-09 07:20

Being mentioned as a client in the Epstein files is the reason to thoroughly investigate someone. And I think they should all be locked up during the investigation. Including Gates, Clinton, Trump, Bannon, Thiel, all those guys.

Opcn 2026-02-09 07:34

The model S showed the world that Tesla could build a real street legal car, but it wasn't fundamentally different in the way that the T-zero+roadster were. The Nissan leaf outsold the Model S every year pretty much and came out two years earlier. Both the leaf and the S used industrial motors that remain fundamentally unchanged for the last 80 years and third party batteries. They were targeting different price points, but the model S didn't deserve the price they sold it for due to poor initial build quality and road noise issues that would have gotten it rejected without Musk's relentless hypegame.

Dazzling-Read1451 2026-02-09 14:31

Sold my Tesla last week. It was a truly great car. Whether he was involved or not, his political involvement and his connections was just became a bridge too far for me. I had hoped he would tone it down. He was so great as a tech leader, he still is, but the constant political trolling and constant division he sows daily is not something I want to be associated with.

Global-Tie-3458 2026-02-09 15:23

Zoom out then.

ukulele_bruh 2026-02-09 16:37

Lol I got banned from the cult subs for pointing out Musk is likely a pedo and child predator

Last_Comedian188 2026-02-09 19:25

That cretin only became a billionaire after Obama granted Tesla tax breaks and subsidies. He is a corporate welfare Epsteinite.

Last_Comedian188 2026-02-09 19:36

Dah wah yu get.

Allred87 2026-02-10 00:39

Pathological liar and now pedophile. Might not be a great leader.

atropear 2026-02-10 04:26

up 100% in 9 months. Up today too.

spacetr0n 2026-02-10 11:52

Writers that have never lived through a recession...

DoingDaveThings 2026-02-11 00:58

Oddly, TSLA has recovered all losses since Feb 6th. Today it closed at $424.40, where it was around the last week of January.

-THH-Wasted 2026-03-01 02:50

NO one on the list did anything. NO one knew anything. NO one saw anything. They must all have been drugged..

JairoHyro 2026-03-06 05:48

I didn't. I also disagreed with people back in the old days of the_donald sub and didn't get banned. Also people don't really think of Musk as a pedo and child predator. That's usually reserved for Trump

JairoHyro 2026-03-06 05:49

That's totally understandable. But I also remember a third of people didn't vote in the American election at all. That third was a greater third than any who voted either democrat or republican. And some people just don't care. Personally I want the prices to below enough for me to snag one.

JairoHyro 2026-03-06 05:54

I met actual neo-nazis one time so my perspective is skewed when people say he's a Nazi. I mean a tech billionaire all of a sudden a Nazi because he did an awkward gesture and associating with a republican president? I guess you can call him that but seeing people with hate symbols tattoos and looking at you with death stares reminds me that there's actual real Nazis. I'll buy a Tesla if it's a good deal but I don't care about anything about who's in charge and their actions. If he starts to kill people then I'll change my mind lol

JairoHyro 2026-03-06 05:55

Definitely, so I can scoop it up when it is at its lowest

JairoHyro 2026-03-06 05:56

Because of the quality of the product. I mean literally a large majority of other products that has unfortunate origins or connections have literally survived regardless of the association because there's enough people who will overlook it and focus on the product soley.

Dazzling-Read1451 2026-03-07 01:18

I’ve got no issues with you doing whatever you’d like to do. I made my decision and I’m happy about it.
