Hype artist continues to sell hype. They'll probably end the decade at sub 1 GW each.

lol. Ok, Elon. Go do some more K.

Plan seems rock solid. Carve out a 100x100 mile area of a state like Nebraska and make it all solar power. Then, somehow, distribute that power to 50 states. Simple. Shouldn’t take more than a weekend to knock out, just like the hyper loop. I mean, I guess we shouldn’t nitpick the small details. The important thing is that we bump the stock now so we can get the ball rolling on this next amazing innovation. What if we just make all the Optimus robots pedal bikes for power. Big brain stuff right there. 🤔

Others would have seen the jail cell already.

Tesla will produce them, SpaceX will buy them, Boring Company will bury them.

This is just green washing. They're getting so much push back from their AI datacenters. Due to the natural gas turbines and diesel generators they're proposing to install so they can stay online when the grid drops.

Honestly you're overthinking this. "Optimus - build 1GW of solar panes and install them in the desert. Post updates to X - The everything app"

Riiiiight. About 6000 sq kms of PVs, about the size of Delaware, every year, from just two BS filled companies.

Next will be solar freakin' foadways!

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-05 02:42

And don't forget the power dissipates over distance.

BringBackUsenet 2026-02-05 02:44

Yet they couldn't even get solar shingles to work. This is almost as stupid as solar freakin' roadways.
