Yearly profits fell 46% ... bullish!

newfyorker 2026-01-30 16:38

Yeah. Stock market today as a whole is a blood bath, yet TSLA is up 5%. It’s all a fucking joke.

TryIsntGoodEnough 2026-01-30 17:01

Well you see, now SpaceX may just merge with Tesla instead of xAI so.... umm... I got nothing. Dude lies and the market treats it like the gospel

ArQ7777 2026-01-30 17:18

Stock is up though. As long as Elon Musk owns SpaceX and uses it as a carrot to attract investors. SpaceX will be the highest value IPO ever. And it might merge with TSLA.

Fun_Volume2150 2026-01-30 18:53

Considering that SpaceX is SpaceX’s largest customer by a long shot, I can’t see why Musk would want to take it public.

readit145 2026-01-30 23:58

lol. And now emails come out about musk asking to go to pedo island over the course of years. Best day ever.

No need to read analyst reports; just keep buying

GhostofBreadDragons 2026-01-31 03:45

He can’t stop the merry go round or everything crashes.  SpaceX IPO is just a way to keep everything going. Between the options market manipulation, interest on his loans, and his political spending, he is burning a whole lot of cash. He can’t sell any TSLA because it will drop the stock significantly, so he needs a new source of funds.  SpaceX IPO lets him borrow even more money.

Basement_Chicken 2026-01-31 04:47

Can't make money selling cars anymore, so let's make money by merger rumors and other tricky accounting skanking?

techbunnyboy 2026-01-31 05:03

Hey no worries. Stock will only go up on negative news

ShortFatStupid666 2026-01-31 15:09

He’s his own Ponzi scheme?

ShortFatStupid666 2026-01-31 15:10

It worked in 1929, didn’t it?

RociBuldidi 2026-01-31 15:39

This…85% of SpaceC launches are for themselves, launching Starlink satellites. And just like he has made Tesla a toxic brand around the world, foreign countries and businesses have been flocking away from SpaceX, willingly paying more for other launch providers.

BringBackUsenet 2026-01-31 15:55

Just wait til next quarter. It's only going to get worse. TSLA on the other hand, has a life of its own but can't sustain the bubble forever.

BringBackUsenet 2026-01-31 15:56

Only have the IPO because they have a pump to do so the transfer of equity somehow fucks over investors and ends up in Felon's hands.

BajaRooster 2026-02-01 05:55

His best hope is to put all of his companies under one umbrella and collect government contracts. It’ll be one of the greatest boondoggles in history if he pulls it off.

justsomerandomnamekk 2026-02-01 10:39

I don't even know why people think that SpaceX is so valuable. After the last successful tests of Isar Aerospace, ESA will no longer buy launch vehicles from SpaceX. All thats left is the NASA/Starlink business. Thats valuable for sure, but tens or hundreds of billions? Nah.

ArQ7777 2026-02-02 00:54

SpaceX is a monopoly without competition.
