I hope buyers there don't expect a warranty, cuz all that sun and sand definitely voids the warranty!
The dumb sheikhs will gobble this shit up
I wonder how long the battery lasts with the AC running in that nasty heat. As soon as a couple get stuck in the sand, sales will halt.
Sunlight melts the glue so that’s going to avoid the warranty as well. Only drive on dark nights.
A few will, then the reality will hit and they'll see what pieces of junk they really are.
The pictures of abandoned cybertrucks in the sand are going to spawn off some more embarrassing subreddits for tesla.
https://digitalassets.tesla.com/tesla-contents/image/upload/tesla-cybertruck-new-vehicle-limited-warranty-en-us.pdf The environment or an act of God, including, but not limited to, exposure to sunlight, airborne chemicals, tree sap, animal or insect droppings, road debris (including stone chips), industry fallout, rail dust, salt, hail, floods, wind and (thunder)storms, acid rain, fire, water, contamination, lightning and other environmental conditions.
>As soon as a couple get stuck in the sand, sales will halt. Disagree. If your CT gets stuck and you are a sheik, this is a minor inconvenience that just means you need to buy another CT. Frankly it might be a sales tactic.
They only want what others can’t have. They have no interest in what nobody wants.
Wank Panzer perfect for tasteless Skeikhs.
This is standard in every vehicle warranty pamphlet btw
Is he getting his rich Saudi friends to buy them just to boost sales? Say that he wouldn't do something that deceitful. /s
Missing nuclear fallout and oil gushers
Trash in a different place is still trash.
I thought it worked on mars though so shouldn’t Middle East sand be easy?
Out of all the cars they could buy, why would they want a trashbin on wheels
Uae give illegal shadow loans to musk, that uae buys musk's cars so that shadow loans don't get margin called
It's a real one...

“and other environmental conditions”
I literally can't wait for this.
Lol when they find out how shit it is and start to pull their money out of tesla 🍿
The people that wanted a Cybertruck in the middle East already shipped it from the US
I wonder how do they manage to keep the glue from melting and all panels falling off the vehicle
quicksand?
Gonna be just “great” in the sand and heat…
You laugh but this is true. Had a Saudi friend whose Mercedes was involved in a crash, small fender bender. They end up just buying a new Merc. No need to wait for repairs. Too much money
I was really only half joking lol I've seen the way folks in the ME view money
They'll probably get it just for display purposes. They wouldn't risk actually driving in it 🤣

Finally, the vehicle arrives in the only place it makes sense: in the area of absurdity and wasteland. Still, I hope the vehicle doesn't brick itself
No mention of Martian duststorms?
Worlds trash is being sold to the sheikhs lol
I can see a few Sheiks buying a couple for fun, but they really lost all the brand perstige in the past few years and became kind of cheap laughingstocks-- panels falling off from poor glue, tow frames ripping off, glass panels not being properly installed and rusting off etc. Even if you have a few....hundred Sheiks (are there even that many?), they just don't have the cool factor the way Lambos/AMG/Barbus/G Wagons etc do.
EXPOSURE TO ***SUNLIGHT*** ????!!!!!????
Yeah, partially why I had to state that they have been sold to his other companies and not "stockpiled". I dont even think the cybertruck is road legal in all states? Let alone other countries. Also, Saudi Arabia has some of the most stringent regulations for regular cars.
I’m pretty sure that glue will start melting
Shiny SS electric trunk in the sun and sand, what possibly could go wrong!
Rumors in Branch Elonian circles are these are the same trucks that filled SpaceX parking lots - see, they weren't channel stuffing, just storing them there.
To be fair, nobody should want to drive this in broad daylight where they can be seen.
And for the love of God, don’t feed a Clusterfuck after midnight.

You're welcome
I guess they've got to learn the hard way.
Can’t wait to see the first Cyber-Technical with a big old machine gun welded into the bed
Lol what a Clown Car
It doesn’t have the cool factor of a 1994 Camry
Until they catch on fire
Basically, keep your cyber truck inside or you void the warranty
It’s not
The region of the world that depends on petroleum sales to exist is buying electric cars? Novelty item at best.
The glue holding the panels will melt.
Unless they can’t get out and die of heat.
An old joke ripe for a modern, Cybertruck retell8ng: > When you drive a Jag, you're not boasting that you can afford a Jag, you're boasting that you can afford three Jags: One in the shop, one to drive, and one the chauffeur uses to pick you up when the one you're driving fails.
I didn't foresee Elon being okay selling electric Cyberstucks to a predominantly oil-fueled region.
If you want to sell tacky shiny expensive things, that's the place to do it.
Not sure I agree with the “pricing remains the key issue” statement in this article!
Yalla, yalla, y'all! So soon we'll get to see a bunch of abandoned Cyberstucks out in the desert. Right next to the Lambos and G-wagons. Great!
No one is buying cars in UAE, its all leasing, exactly because the car will die in like four/five years. Emirati buy toyota and foreigners buy mercedes/porshe/luxury cars. I saw like one cybertruck in Dubai so far.
