I own a Tesla and while I would say it is junk, it certainly no Mercedes. Don’t know about the BYD as never owned one, but they do look nice in the showroom.

Unsurprising if you see what BYD is taking to the market and consistently launching new products and technologies while doing so. Tesla? The platforms and battery tech is now years behind BYD, and they have 0 new vehicles in the pipeline. Their CEO is spending more time shitposting on social media and spreading facist ideas than new products for his brand.

BYDs are trash and they only oversold Tesla because of Tesla's controversy. I've been writing a report for comfort for them and I hated each one of them. I preferred Tesla and even the stiff suspension of the Model 3 over any BYD. If anything is worth looking at in terms of non-Tesla EVs is Renault and Zeekr, but Tesla does have the supercharging network and the app commodity that other brands cannot do better.
BYDs are trash. Truly horrible EVs and I've driven even their busses which also happened to be horrible.
