Okay he's right about this, and his predictions have proven horrible. [https://www.youtube.com/shorts/E2H-ti7QTwo](https://www.youtube.com/shorts/E2H-ti7QTwo)

tuctrohs 2025-12-31 17:41

Hard to pick the top five from all 217.

Key-Beginning-2201 2025-12-31 17:50

Worst. CEO. Ever.

FrogmanKouki 2025-12-31 17:58

So where is the original post here that shared this article yesterday?

Usual-Language-745 2025-12-31 17:59

It’s almost like the CEO is a drug addict and the board and shareholders have lost their grip on reality….

Turbulent-Phone-8493 2025-12-31 17:59

1. The 20-30% EV Volume Growth That Became a Drop 2. Robotaxis Covering 50% of the US Population 3. The “Mind-Blowing” Demo That Vanished 4. Tesla Semi Production Kicked Down the Road Again 5. The Missing Army of Optimus Robots

zippopamus 2025-12-31 18:00

that's just par for the course annually

luv2block 2025-12-31 18:01

What Musk represents is that the elites no longer feel they have to tell the truth, or even anything proximate to the truth. Whether it's Trump, or the AI companies, or the government itself... it's just an endless open tap of lies, misinformation and obfuscation. And whatever mechanisms used to exist to hold them to account (the free market, regulatory bodies, the DOJ) are now toothless tigers.

willismthomp 2025-12-31 18:03

Dude non stop makes shit. He’s a government leech, and should be in jail for fraud 1 trillion times over now.

ConsistentRegister20 2025-12-31 18:04

Cross country drive on FSD, oh wait that just happened yesterday. Shorting tsla is going to hurt, wait it did.

ConsistentRegister20 2025-12-31 18:04

Elon baaaaad.  You might have a weak mind when propaganda works so well on you.

PerfectPercentage69 2025-12-31 18:06

6. A million robotaxis on the road by end of 2020 7. That Tesla cars would appreciate in value instead of depreciate (I think this is the dumbest prediction).

Past_Paint_225 2025-12-31 18:08

Somebody posted in a different thread that all these predictions did come true, but for competitors lol

ChollyWheels 2025-12-31 18:10

\> The Missing Army of Optimus Robots How do you know they are not stealth robots -- HERE -- but invisible?

Fishy_Fish_WA 2025-12-31 18:13

Maybe they’re like imaginary friends?

PowerFarta 2025-12-31 18:13

Lol Elon good because billionaires rule right?

TriccepsBrachiali 2025-12-31 18:14

2 eyes and a brain is sufficient

kneejerk2022 2025-12-31 18:14

Yep, it was yet another year filled with his bullshit sci-fi promises. But the Tesla Semi does my head in the most. They're some big companies that have been hanging on his "promise" of an electric future for years. Why aren't they suing his ass into oblivion.

OldTimeyWizard 2025-12-31 18:17

You definitely have a weak mind if you keep falling for Musk’s horseshit. The man has no skills outside throwing money at things and pretending to be a victim.

ChollyWheels 2025-12-31 18:21

Yes! For now, only the stock price is real.

[deleted] 2025-12-31 18:23

Dude can’t make functional automatic wipers and he’s over here claiming his robots are going to drive a trillion $ valuation. It’s a man in a $30 halloween costume dude, we can tell.

Albin4president2028 2025-12-31 18:23

Projection much.

cancel-out-combo 2025-12-31 18:23

Tesla will never be rid of him as CEO. It's a damn shame given how great the model 3 and Y are as far as EVs are concerned. Kudos to the Tesla engineers and thrown feces for Musk

ObviousCommonSense 2025-12-31 18:27

Main takeaway: >Here’s an interesting quote from Musk: “The ability to predict the future is the best measure of intelligence.” Based on Musk’s own standard of intelligence, **he is a grade A moron**.

FrogmanKouki 2025-12-31 18:28

Talk about propaganda when your hero bought a social media company and spent hundreds of millions on politics....

CareBearOvershare 2025-12-31 18:29

The board hasn't lost their grip on reality. They just understand the grift.

RipWhenDamageTaken 2025-12-31 18:31

You have a strong mind? Why not give your rebuttals for the top 5 failed predictions mentioned?

albertwh 2025-12-31 18:32

And in response the market sent the stock up 20%

dsmith422 2025-12-31 18:43

Musk: "Probably the best measure of intelligence is your ability to predict the future" That is absolute ridiculous way to measure intelligence, but if we judge him by his own metric then that just proves that the asshole is a moron.

whyyoufollowingme 2025-12-31 18:43

Oh the irony here is just 🤌

Aggy500 2025-12-31 18:46

I don't think he's the worst, but it's clear they need to put him behind a PR department. Man just can't stop saying shit.

StlCyclone 2025-12-31 18:52

Missed all the marks, stock to the moon \^

ArQ7777 2025-12-31 18:59

Predictions are not promises. Elon is not responsible for his predictions that did not come true.

MuckBulligan 2025-12-31 19:01

Your post history is hilarious. It's like a drunk Elon account.

Whatwhyreally 2025-12-31 19:08

Buddy, you're legit part of a cult. Or you're a bot.

Hot-Activ3 2025-12-31 19:20

Hasn’t he been promising that for years?

weaz-am-i 2025-12-31 19:20

Stock just went up because you mentioned he made 217 predictions.

[deleted] 2025-12-31 19:27

Weren't we supposed to be on Mars already or some shit?

Fun_Volume2150 2025-12-31 19:31

A: They weren’t counting on Tesla, and have continued trialing tractors from reliable manufacturers.

Fun_Volume2150 2025-12-31 19:36

Au contraire! Once you realize that the job of the CEO is to make money for the shareholders it’s obvious that he’s the best CEO ever, because actual financial results don’t matter anymore. How long this charade can be kept up is another matter.

The_DMT 2025-12-31 19:41

Ask the shareholders..

ArQ7777 2025-12-31 19:57

The most important thing Elon said in 2025 is that TSLA share holders will have an access to buy SpaceX IPO which is the hottest IPO in 2026. There will be a craze to buy TSLA shares in early 2026 because of Elon's words regarding TSLA and SpaceX. This promise trumps every other one that did not come true. Bottom line is that Elon wants to make his fans make money. And he paved a good way for that to come true. I can see TSLA hit $500 mark in January 2026. Not a fan of Elon Musk but he takes care of his fans.

strike2867 2025-12-31 20:00

This is a ridiculous take. His lying is the only thing keeping the company afloat.

Ski_Area51 2025-12-31 20:02

Musk is a Grade A moron.

LightMission4937 2025-12-31 20:08

That the "Musk Guarantee". Just a bag full of degeneracy and a steamy pile of bullshit.

Aggy500 2025-12-31 20:09

No his willingness to use tax payer money from one company to purchase from another is doing that.

Key-Beginning-2201 2025-12-31 20:18

Chicken or the egg.

curiousitymdg 2025-12-31 20:26

“Grade A moron” - nailed it!!

ObviouslyJoking 2025-12-31 20:44

That’s great, but why only top five? I know it would be a challenge, but you should compile a full list. Top 5 is just lazy.

torokunai 2025-12-31 21:00

overall I lean toward Elon's more a con man than all that. He found a good grift with BEVs 2009-2024 and rode it as far as he could.

Lacrewpandora 2025-12-31 21:08

Fred throwing some shade - using Elon's penchant for demanding lists of last week's 5 accomplishments against him.

henrik_se 2025-12-31 21:17

Tesla is getting smoked by the competition in the EV truck market. Or, would be smoked if they had even entered the market, but so far they still only have prototypes. Tesla is simply assuming that they're gonna compete in that space by aura and hype alone or something. Then again, the American truck market is decades behind the European one, so surely some trucking companies will be dazzled enough by the Semi to try it out, completely overlooking the competition.

Belgarablue 2025-12-31 21:23

But yet you believe the perpetual liar?

sidc42 2025-12-31 21:50

Yup. The board sells their stock every time it goes up and the ones that weren't already from billionaire families have made generational levels of wealth by rubber stamping anything Elon wants. For the cash they're making I'd rubber stamp his shit and sell my stock options all day long too.

ArQ7777 2025-12-31 22:09

I don't believe him. But his believers and fans holding a lot of trading money. In the past five years, you could see fundamentals are not important. Meme stocks could be traded 100x or 1000x their true values. TSLA should be not shorted if you don't want to lose money. Just don't touch it.

Mobius00 2025-12-31 22:14

Well he a genius at making his stock go up. Maybe that's the goal.

Odd-Mortgage5658 2025-12-31 22:14

It's just so sad to see the constant lies being spewed out by him and others with no consequences.

neliz 2025-12-31 22:22

Nobody is waiting for the Tesla semi. Actual logistics companies have already fielded fleets of electric semis. The only ones that still say they're waiting on Tesla is because they have subsidies riding on it.

rruusu 2025-12-31 22:48

As long as stock prices grow without earnings, he is making money from the shareholders, not for them. In fact, his compensation package exceeds Tesla's entire net profit to date. Even if individual investors make a speculative profit, shareholders as a whole gain nothing from a company that has never pays a single dividend.

practicaloppossum 2025-12-31 23:18

Yeah, that was my favorite part of the article. The sad part is that it's not just Musk's standard of intelligence - a major part of many IQ tests is the ability to reason a likely outcome, given a description of a particular situation. Musk's predictions really do indicate that either he's not too bright, or not too honest, or both.

TONNAGE1975 2026-01-01 01:51

Enrons CEO was once the best CEO ever

PHUCKHedgeFunds 2026-01-01 02:10

I guess this sub is a Democrat cesspool. I am very happy with the Tesla sock I own

Fronzel 2026-01-01 02:29

Dude, go easy on him. He still has four hours to do that. And I know it looks like star ship can barely make LEO, but he's getting people to Mars by the end of the year.

Fun_Volume2150 2026-01-01 03:21

Shhhhh... That's supposed to be a secret!

Fun_Volume2150 2026-01-01 03:21

Now you're catching on!

Beartrkkr 2026-01-01 04:48

or the robot, or the ...

Beartrkkr 2026-01-01 04:49

Enough drugs and you can be wherever you want...

foo-bar-25 2026-01-01 06:08

7. 1.5 trillion in cuts

YamatoRyu2006 2026-01-01 06:08

Here comes another brainwashed social media addict lol.

YamatoRyu2006 2026-01-01 06:09

Laws don't apply to the rich.

YamatoRyu2006 2026-01-01 06:10

>whatever mechanisms used to exist to hold them to account (the free market, regulatory bodies, the DOJ) are now toothless tigers very accurate and real. The "checks on power" have been removed and Pandora's box has been opened.

nojunkdrawers 2026-01-01 07:18

He's the best and the worst for the same reason. Enron has managed to make his companies look good in an equally fake economy while no one is looking at the man behind the curtain. Let's see how TSLA looks after the next Lehman Bros moment, which may even be the collapse of Tesla itself.

Engineering_Spirit 2026-01-01 08:59

Interesting considering his apparent latest grift about using Starlink satellites as a AI data centre. If this is correct Musk uses one stock to pump the other. And if he goes forward with this, we’ll see a new level of waste, fraud and abuse. (As well as a potential big reduction of the ozone layer). Regarding the “AI centre in space idea”, I recommend this blogpost: https://taranis.ie/datacenters-in-space-are-a-terrible-horrible-no-good-idea/

asphaltbabe 2026-01-01 14:40

HAS ANYTHING HE SAID HAPPENED OTHER THAN THE CYBERFLUnK?

[deleted] 2026-01-01 15:38

They couldn't get a top 5 list if they did the ones he ACTUALLY delivered on! * "TWO MILLION AUTONOMOUS ROBOTAXIS THAT EARN EVERYONE 30.000 A YEAR!" vs * Reality: 35 circulation, 12 at a time, all Tesla owned, 1-2 with remote operators cruising behind.\* (\*scraping the legal foundation with the things they can get away with) \- - - - If you ever meet anyone telling you (proudly) "i am a Tesla investor!" - boasting as if it were a smart thing You might want to show them the toilet and make sure they don't drown by accident :)

Quirky_Tradition_806 2026-01-03 05:13

What about the elusive roadster

Inevitable-Carrot980 2026-01-03 14:56

Can you even imagine what it must be like being a Tesla employee listening to his moronic, impossible predictions and knowing they can't possibly happen?

ApprehensiveBed6296 2026-01-04 23:23

I am shocked! Shocked!
