“Tesla electric vehicle registrations (a proxy for sales) in Europe fell to just 6,964 units in October, a 48.5% drop compared to a year ago. Meanwhile, total EV registrations in the region, which includes the UK and the European Free Trade Association, rose 32.9% in October, with overall registrations regardless of powertrain up 4.9%. October's total marks the 10th straight month of declining Tesla sales in Europe. Meanwhile, the overall market share of EVs in the broader European region grew to 16.4%.”

QVRedit 2025-11-27 00:09

Expected - it’s a result of Elons ‘political actions’ Tesla has gained something of a ‘Toxic Reputation’ in Europe. We have strong memories of 1938-1945…

obefiend 2025-11-27 00:09

To the moon soon. More effort on Cabs and Optimus. We don't need to sell cars anymore. Tesla is again ahead of the curve /s

ryan_dfs 2025-11-27 00:10

It’s an AI chip company though

FIicker7 2025-11-27 00:12

What historical trauma could have caused this?

y4udothistome 2025-11-27 00:13

Love it.

Belgarablue 2025-11-27 00:18

Up at least 50%

Belgarablue 2025-11-27 00:20

Wait, I thought it was a Robot company, or a "Fully manned Colony On Mars Company " Im confused.

Adigr0709 2025-11-27 00:24

Europeans are smart

weaz-am-i 2025-11-27 00:31

Anything on mars is SpaceX. Tesla hasn't bought out SpaceX *yet*

SpectrumWoes 2025-11-27 00:32

As of July 1st: “Investors are glued to Tesla (TSLA) at writing following reports that its billionaire chief executive, Elon Musk, will personally oversee European sales after firing Omead Afshar – the company’s vice president of manufacturing and operations – last week.” Sounds like that plan is going great

ankercrank 2025-11-27 00:33

Nah, it’s a robot company, err.. a cybercab company, err.. a semi-truck company, err- a solar/battery company, err- a car company…?

crappydeli 2025-11-27 00:40

At this point, 50% isn’t that much since every quarter it drops 50% we are going from selling 20 cars to 10.

Life-Topic-7 2025-11-27 00:42

It’s a carbon credit company. That’s their main product that actually makes money.

Alarming_Jacket3876 2025-11-27 00:47

Car sales are obviously a distraction from the core business of smoke generation.

ankercrank 2025-11-27 00:50

Actually, it’s a stock pumping company. By far, their largest business is stock growth.

Youngnathan2011 2025-11-27 00:52

Pretty unfortunate for them that they don’t exist in the US now. Big part of their profits just gone

Leather_Floor8725 2025-11-27 01:08

More AI chip sales than NVdA, who cares about cars lol

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-27 01:14

To Mars!

fakenews_thankme 2025-11-27 01:15

Time to buy calls.

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-27 01:15

Artificial intentions?

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-27 01:16

They are all walnuts in his shell game.

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-27 01:17

"Personally oversee" while playing video games and wanking to anime.

ad-astra-specta 2025-11-27 01:54

And soon, Tesla will see a 100% drop as they go from selling 1 car to zero cars.

intelligent_dildo 2025-11-27 02:01

You missed the news. It’s a fab company now.

I_am_naes 2025-11-27 02:34

Elon *would* go, but he’s just too important and has to stay on earth to accumulate more ludicrous amounts of wealth. You know, for the betterment of humanity.

prsnep 2025-11-27 02:37

Don't forget mirrors.

mr_grey 2025-11-27 02:47

Why is anyone buying that piece of shit nazi mobile?

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-27 02:51

Ya, he's busy ~~playing video games and jerking off to anime por~~building his robot army.

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-27 02:52

That toxic reputation is what will destroy him, and Tesla. Nobody wants anything to do with him no matter what vaporware he pretends to build.

flying_butt_fucker 2025-11-27 03:52

From a product point of view, I would have been ready to buy a Tesla by now. The cars have developed nicely, and a Model 3 or Y are pretty attractive cars. But based solely on what Musk has done to our society, with the enablement of fascism and racism, I will never buy a Tesla or any other product from his empire.

FreshPrinceOfH 2025-11-27 04:12

Tesla shares to the moon on the back of this news

Cedric_T 2025-11-27 04:53

*while paying others to play videos games for him

[deleted] 2025-11-27 05:05

We just bought an EV. Looked at every brand but Tesla. Won’t even consider one.

ianishomer 2025-11-27 06:50

Queue more bullshit for the snake oil salesman to try and still convince investors that he is a genius. What will it be this time Robot airplanes, a new cybertruck not designed by a 5 year old, or something outrageous like a Tesla working McFlurry machine!

OffsideOracle 2025-11-27 07:29

Maybe time for European Tesla to make 100B deal with X Corp. Then X Corp makes 100B deal with SpaceX and Tesla. Sales will be up!

Legal-Actuary4537 2025-11-27 09:44

Grünheide factory is underutilized and should never have been built.  They could be supplying Europe from U.S. factories toll free.  The Chinese on the other hand are powering ahead in the E.U. market and companies like BMW and VAG who took E.V.s seriously are enjoying considerable sales success.

why_not_fqwe 2025-11-27 10:17

Just wait for the November numbers. Only 11k Tesla have been registered so far in the EU [EV registrations EU](https://www.eu-evs.com/groupCharts/TESLA/ALL/YoY-Chart)

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-27 10:28

Their reputation for quality has never been good.

neliz 2025-11-27 11:01

Focus on caba, that's why they're slashing their fleet by 90%

hpass 2025-11-27 12:29

flying Tesla McFlurry machine

Puzzleheaded-Shake37 2025-11-27 13:39

Stock up 10% on news of course

Parking_Revenue5583 2025-11-27 13:54

Won’t someone think of the children ? He’s got like 14 kids we know about. He’s going to mars to get away from his parenting responsibilities!

Adigr0709 2025-11-27 13:54

Science fiction company no less

rkcth 2025-11-27 14:15

This, and I test drove one 3 years ago and kind of felt like it was a piece of crap. We ended up getting a Ford Expedition hybrid, it was so much nicer and substantially cheaper. It’s been very reliable. My wife has to drive a lot for work and it gets incredible mileage.

JohnHazardWandering 2025-11-27 14:35

Why don't they shut down their car factories so they can focus on chips and robots?

Difficult_Limit2718 2025-11-27 15:21

Guys - you keep missing that -50% yoy isn't as bad as it sounds because of compound loses! It's only like -25% over peak baseline!.... $tsla +42.68%!!!!

pzerr 2025-11-27 16:23

They do have a good drive train and battery management system. But the drive train is what the conventional guys excel at and the battery management system is one of the easier techs to catch up on.

SisterOfBattIe 2025-11-27 19:50

I still have no idea what will pop first. The USA stock market seems a foam pit.

Life-Topic-7 2025-11-28 00:07

Ya, such a shame. Oh well.

I_just_made 2025-11-28 00:48

It’s almost like it was a terrible idea to tie your brand to a terminally online megalomaniacal Nazi. Honestly, Tesla needs to drop him and focus on repairing their reputation, as well as focusing on improving quality. It has been several years and these cars are still shit quality. They need to seriously reflect on what it means to be an auto manufacturer if they want to make it through.

Hegario 2025-11-28 09:00

My buddy who had a Model Y just switched to the new one. Apparently he was given 0% financing.

Grand-Glove-9985 2025-11-28 18:41

The car is fine, but the company boss its a nazi so fuck off. No more nazi mobile in the EU.

lexievv 2025-11-29 14:56

Right now it's a "model Y would you ever buy that".

spaham 2025-11-30 21:58

Exactly he completely killed it for me

Secure_Hair_5682 2025-12-14 15:57

Then stop buying every european car. All of them supported Hitler.
