I for one am surprised this Tesla venture is a total mess.

Common-Violinist-305 2025-11-19 08:38

😂

jack-in-the-sack 2025-11-19 08:40

Relax guy, it's just a chef not a chief.

_Captain_Amazing_ 2025-11-19 10:23

Why the fuck is a car company opening a restaurant??? Riddle me that.

DistributedView 2025-11-19 10:25

Converting to a full service restaurant where the service is provided by Optimus robots in January.... ...meals will be delivered in 2027* (*2028 at the latest)

Lopsided_Quarter_931 2025-11-19 10:40

the row of high level executive exits continues.

ObviouslyJoking 2025-11-19 10:52

Wait it’s still there? I just assumed it was a short term promotion. This seems like a crazy business model for Elon to be involved with. Does he know they don’t give out government hand outs for restaurants?

EczachlyLB 2025-11-19 11:02

Yup Elon = 🤡

Engunnear 2025-11-19 11:11

You sure about that last point? I seriously question whether fElon ever would have gotten involved in a venture if there wasn’t public money involved.

ComicsEtAl 2025-11-19 11:19

Chefs work at restaurants. Cooks work at diners.

Bagafeet 2025-11-19 11:40

That's the kitchen chief.

Bagafeet 2025-11-19 11:41

Wait till you hear about Michelin Star 🤭

MarchMurky8649 2025-11-19 11:55

Special offer - arrive by CyberCab and dine free for life - won't cost Tesla a penny!

Founded in the early 1900s Europe where automobile adoption was under 1% by enterprising brothers who manufactured tires and wanted people to drive further to consume more tires. Back then cars would have been the ultimate luxury so impressive targeting of their audience. They still make a shitload more money on tires. That and they're not one of the most valuable companies in the world making promises they can't possibly keep and selling overpriced hotdogs and handing out popcorn inside a restaurant in the 2nd the largest metro in the US rather than focusing on more chargers to make their cars more viable in more markets.

A lot of jews helped run the concentration camps and help keep discipline. They were called Kapos. After the war ended one of them got beat to death by the surviving prisoners.

LionBig1760 2025-11-19 13:16

The chef is leaving to open a Jewish deli. I'm kinda shocked that he waited this long after Elon Musk was Seig Heil-ing his way into the hearts of conservatives up on the Republican victory stage last November.

ehisforadam 2025-11-19 13:56

They were probably just serving all Sysco shit anyway.

mishap1 2025-11-19 14:38

With two human handlers to make sure it doesn't drop food on people or give someone a concussion when it trips. Had noodles and dumplings delivered to me by a robot this past weekend after ordering via web app. It's a Roomba with some trays attached but the local Chinese restaurant could afford it 5-6 years ago so I don't see Optimus quite there yet.

RagingDemonsNoDQ 2025-11-19 14:38

The article said it will be a full-service restaurant in January. I thought it was already one?!

RagingDemonsNoDQ 2025-11-19 14:40

The reviews of the place was like everything else Elon has done. God awful. The only reason it's still there it's for influencers to go and auto farm content.

mishap1 2025-11-19 14:45

Stock grants vesting? You're already working for a Nazi. Might as well ride it out to get your payday so you can take off to safety elsewhere when Elon decides to foment violence via his platform.

CzarCW 2025-11-19 14:57

Correction: Converting to a full service restaurant **(Supervised)** where the service is provided by Optimus robots

dtyamada 2025-11-19 15:12

Because it's not a car company. Its an AI/robotics/diner company ;)

vic25qc 2025-11-19 15:45

Optimus robots remotely controlled

ehisforadam 2025-11-19 16:20

Also, Elmo can't admit when one of his ideas fails.

RollinThundaga 2025-11-19 16:32

"You just have to try ordering harder"

band-of-horses 2025-11-19 16:53

My first thought was, Tesla has a diner? My second thought was, why is this news?

Individual_Agency703 2025-11-19 17:04

Anyone else watch the Out of Spec Motoring video where Kyle drives halfway across the country to visit this diner, and it was closed for renovations? Hilarious.

Radical_Neutral_76 2025-11-19 20:32

Which is all of them?

WildFlowLing 2025-11-19 21:26

Lmfao they’re going to want everyone to tip to fund the Tesla diner. That’s why full service. Y’all need to chip in your 20%+ to fund the Tesla diner owned by the world’s richest man!!!

Electrifying2017 2025-11-24 17:38

By humans inside the suit.
