Tesla shares were up 2.1% pre-market trading Monday after Cybertruck chief Siddhant Awasthi announced his departure—just days after shareholders approved Elon Musk’s record $1 trillion compensation package. Read more: [https://go.forbes.com/sEP\_Ut](https://go.forbes.com/sEP_Ut)

>Tesla ceo does a poop on the floor, stock jumps. Tesla is a cult that is not trading on proper business fundementals. Traders know the bubble will burst specatcularly but they think they can nip in and out before that happens. Millions of 401ks will go to the wall when this happens.

EarthConservation 2025-11-10 15:18

Forbes has reddit bots that post in RealTesla? lol Not surprising to get the story wrong by a narrative creator business news website. The stock jumping has nothing to do with the head leaving. It jumped because the S&P is up, and Tesla's share price is linked to the S&P share price, on account of its weighting in the S&P 500 index funds.

I saw a meme that was a split-image cartoon. One one side was "Investing in the 80s" and it showed a man seated at a computer displaying a a banner that read "Fundamentals" and showed various charts and graphs. The other side was "investing in the 2020s" and it showed a man seated at a computer displaying a split image of the Twitter logo and President Trump.

Scrutinizer 2025-11-10 15:26

That'll teach him to deliver Elon's baby. Imagine looking at the way that product design, marketing, and production was handled and thinking "Hell yeah, these are the guys I want to get behind selling $30,000 robots."

Nfuzzy 2025-11-10 15:30

Yeah, headlines these days just lump a bunch of shit together as click bait, drives me crazy when they imply a causal relationship that doesn't exist.

[deleted] 2025-11-10 15:30

Elon shake after piss- stock soars

Sir_Isaac_Tootin 2025-11-10 15:32

The best executive is no executive.

art-is-t 2025-11-10 15:33

At this point the stock will jump if it were reported that Elon Musk passed gas after a big meal. Stock jumping has no meaning

RedactsAttract 2025-11-10 15:40

Love the description of the meme! Any other pictures you can turn into a paragraph

CarsCarpal 2025-11-10 15:40

But I thought it was all, entirely, Elmo and his visionaryness that designed and built this thing? Are you saying that Tesla is more than a one "man" band?

Crazy-Cook2035 2025-11-10 15:45

It is a TRASH vehicle. Am I am around every type of truck daily for work in development This clown put the the gear selector on the ROOF, just to be edgy

RG54415 2025-11-10 15:51

This sub should allow gifs and images for this meme company.

habfranco 2025-11-10 16:02

It’s following NDQ but with 20x volatility

LVegasGuy 2025-11-10 16:05

Tesla won't need a head of the Cybertruck unit because it is going to just disappear. They won't make any announcements it just won't exist anymore.

shiroandae 2025-11-10 16:08

The stock most definitely didn’t react to this news, Tesla just pumped because the shutdown ended. It always pumps and dumps with the rest of the market.

Impossible_Head8683 2025-11-10 16:10

Wasn't the cybertruck Musk's brain fart ?

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 16:33

Tesla is trading how crypto trades. It's a big speculative bubble based on the Greater Fool Theory.

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 16:34

TSLA has a life of its own, completely disconnected from the company, and reality.

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 16:35

I've always thought it looked like some frankenstein car tossed together with parts from a junkyard as part of some high school autoshop project.

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 16:36

Imagine having that on your resume.

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 16:37

Yes, they are going to do everything they can to send it down the memory hole along with solar shingles and all the other embarassments.

GunnerSince02 2025-11-10 17:10

Elon Musk sets fire to all his factories, stock jumps. Clearly the fire is to create a perpetual motion machine that will create free energy......by the end of next year.

ChampagneAbuelo 2025-11-10 17:16

Never have I seen a traded business run on the childlike whims of one single man

CRXCRZ 2025-11-10 17:16

TSLA Investors: "SiLL LOvE THe TRucK!"

Key-Beginning-2201 2025-11-10 17:39

Of course the stock jumps. They won't have to pay his salary. Costs have just went down. Har har

Secure_Guest_6171 2025-11-10 17:41

did they try offering him $1B?

[deleted] 2025-11-10 18:00

The head of the Cybertruck unit is Elon Musk…..

ascaria 2025-11-10 18:01

But now it looks like an attack helicopter from the inside! Can't you see? What are you, not 5 years old?!

ascaria 2025-11-10 18:02

Duh, fewer factories = lower wages and maintenance! The stock will surely skyrocket upon hearing such great news.

Bradenrm 2025-11-10 18:06

Cyber Jerk ™️

Past_Paint_225 2025-11-10 18:10

Ngl If someone asked me to buy Tesla stock and Elon poops on the floor after that, I will do that no questions asked

CIA_Rectal_Feeder 2025-11-10 18:13

It'll always be [Tesler](https://imgur.com/gallery/tesler-YNGDihV) to me.

Sine_Fine_Belli 2025-11-10 20:04

I agree with you on that

wootnootlol 2025-11-10 20:20

That’s a rosy view of the past. Penny stocks, insider trading, scams, bubbles, etc aren’t modern invention Yes, it’s easier than before, but wherever you have big money involved you’ll always have huge amount of scams.

HiddenStoat 2025-11-10 20:35

Um, surely it's the other way around - the S&P jumped because it's components (including Tesla) went up?

Shardex11 2025-11-10 20:45

How many thousands of times has this been said on this sub alone.. for how many years… how much money has been made.. You might think people eventually realize reality is a thing. Nope they keep making the same statements refusing to see what is directly infront of them.

weaz-am-i 2025-11-10 20:57

Remember how quickly the tesla semi dissappeared from the news when it was seen being towed regularly?

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 21:02

I have a feeling they will soon fade away too.

rainman_104 2025-11-10 21:09

To be fair all of tech is up today. I don't think this bump had anything to do with this departure

Public-Radio6221 2025-11-10 21:18

Elon Musk gets shot 17 times, stock reaches new heights Tesla gets hit with largest meteor in human history, becomes first quintillion dollar company Cybertruck gains sentience and starts running pedestrians over in violent attack, Tesla stock surges

HanzJWermhat 2025-11-10 21:40

I don’t know why Tesla has any vehicle line GMs anymore just let Grok run the company

tuctrohs 2025-11-10 21:49

> Tesla ceo does a poop on the floor, stock jumps. I think we could set this to music. Repeat lots of different "news" lines and after each, the refrain, "Stock jumps." Maybe to the tune of "planet rock" with "don't stop" replaced with "stock jumps".

the_TAOest 2025-11-10 21:57

Elon buys his own stock. Simply, he waits for a mass of shorts to become apparent and understand stop losses and buys and forces covers to buy more. His strategy is so rich

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 22:32

Who says it's a business?

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 22:34

They are his robot army.

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 22:35

Testicle.

BringBackUsenet 2025-11-10 22:36

L. Ron Musk gets verbal diarrhea, stock jumps.

mackfactor 2025-11-10 23:00

And that fool has yet to be identified - but he will one day.

WrongThinkBadSpeak 2025-11-10 23:06

It should be a guy at a roulette table going all in on red

in2thegrey 2025-11-11 00:20

Look at any posting, on any platform, that is anti-Musk, anti-Tesla, or even just critical, and you’ll see plenty of those fools. They are like spiders that feel vibration in the web and spring into the comment section to support Musk. It’s disturbing and depressing.

CFPguy 2025-11-11 00:21

It’s on the touch screen like every other Tesla, but okay. The ceiling gear selector is only if you broke your screen somehow in case of emergency. Google for 5 seconds.

mackfactor 2025-11-11 00:22

Are you saying that being anti Musk or anti Tesla makes one a fool?

Zippytang 2025-11-11 00:33

The Tesla CEO did a Nazi solute with fascist leader destroying our country. Trump was pumping teslas on the white house lawn because sales were plummeting. These are not the actions of a normal or stable company. There’s clearly fraud occurring.

phophofofo 2025-11-11 01:19

He could revolutionize pooping just imagine if we launched all our poop at Mars

Ok_Excitement725 2025-11-11 01:21

And the moronic share holders decided to reward him for it which is even more insane

phophofofo 2025-11-11 01:21

The head of every unit at Tesla exists to be yelled at and fired if Musk fucks up

in2thegrey 2025-11-11 01:26

No, sorry if I worded it poorly. I’m saying that pro-Musk Tesla fans, usually stockholders, come out swinging in the comments.

JazzHandsNinja42 2025-11-11 01:56

Elon flushes his poopies down the potty, like a big boy! Stock jumps.

3L54 2025-11-11 05:04

Having gears on screen isnt any better. Cheapest design choice out there and Ive yet to encounter anything that comes even close to how badly it functions as gear selector on any car.

himswim28 2025-11-11 05:40

> Elon buys his own stock But Insider trading without disclosure is illegal. Well maybe, as it used to be some what occasionally enforced, I guess

Biotech_wolf 2025-11-11 06:09

Is his name Elon Musk? Because let’s be honest who was in charge of that unit.

capital_folly 2025-11-11 13:39

This is a pattern at Tesla when leadership turnover hits a peak, Elon doubles down on central control. It’s both a strength and a risk: Tesla’s agility comes from one person’s conviction, but that also means execution bottlenecks at the top. The company still runs on the same thesis belief in Musk’s next leap. The exit just reinforces how much that dependence defines Tesla’s identity.

SomeOkeByTheSea 2025-11-11 13:44

this stock is the most manipulated thing in the world Im sure. Cant wait for it to go up in flames. its coming. some really greedy people propping it up.

CFPguy 2025-11-11 16:16

I literally swipe my finger up or down on the massive icon on the massive screen in front of me. It’s less effort than grabbing a shifter knob. You should try it sometime.

y4udothistome 2025-11-11 16:49

Those people are skeptical of a can kicker who just keeps giving himself time till he catches up to the can to kick it again. Can you blame them waiting and waiting finally people are just starting to give up. Slowly but surely it will happen

EarthConservation 2025-11-11 16:58

The two are inextricably linked. Tesla doesn't need to be the cause of the S&P 500 appreciating, nor does any single one company (although a single stock can boost the index). That's largely because a huge chunk of traders are buying up index funds. When more people throw money into index funds, those funds buy the underlying assets... boosting all stocks in the index. That can also cause mini-short squeezes in the individual stocks, pushing them even higher. If actively traded shares in a company are low, and active traders are demanding high prices on their shares, then I imagine indexes broadly buying their underlying assets can spike certain stocks, like Tesla. One thing's certainly true; a large share of Tesla stock is owned and held by people that are not actively trading it. Of course, the same thing happens in reverse if people were to sell off index funds. Companies like Tesla would get hit much harder... as we saw in early 2025. When the market corrected 21%, Tesla corrected 56%.

HiddenStoat 2025-11-11 19:20

Ah, I see what you mean now. Thanks - I've learnt something :-)

3L54 2025-11-11 19:50

I have. Reaching to a screen vs just knowing what physical button to press/lever to pull with minimal hand movement is a big difference. Tesla has easily the worst implementation of controls from any electric car Ive driven over the years. Even I-Pace is so ahead of Tesla its not funny.

FaschFreeZone 2025-11-12 08:00

Piss on Tesla.

drillbit56 2025-11-12 11:54

He could do such manipulations through multiple separate corporate entities that would be very hard to detect.

Smart-Effective7533 2025-11-12 14:39

When Tesla bursts the whole stock market bursts. Probably why the rich keep propping it up
