Yeah good luck with that

LightMission4937 2025-10-19 20:01

It will work just fine because it's not a Tesla.

Waymo's slow and steady approach is really working for self driving cars unlike GM's Cruise and Tesla's Robotaxi

Have you met the English? Or the subset called Londoners? This is going to be comedy gold

>I'm certainly not concerned at the moment Maybe he doesn't realize Wayno has a functioning product. Unlike Tesla.

And it's actually designed to carry passengers.

Here in Amsterdam the cabbies would never accept that. They're like the mob. They will beat up other taxi drivers for waiting in the wrong spot. They will sabotage Waymo out of the market in no time.

LOL. It will be an absolute fiasco.

No way this would go smoothly no matter the technology unless they had a very restricted set of areas and routes they can take. There are way too many weird situations which require drivers to communicate with each other to negotiate navigating obstacles or tiny roads which you are always hopping from gap to gap between parked cars and oncoming cars doing the same dance.

They can restrict roads, but Waymo's will actually pull to the side and allow cars to pass on narrow roads and detect when someone is allowing them to pass. They're pretty good at managing some very complex scenarios.
