Delaware judge causing problems again? He never got his first compensation package, even though the shareholders approved it. Delaware judge still said no. Power to Delaware judge

ExcitingMeet2443 2025-10-03 13:10

If only people valued Tesla's cars as much as they value it's shares... 🤔

MikeyB7509 2025-10-03 13:11

Just give it to him. Who cares. If he’s hits those goals give him is stock. If he walks the shares tank.

CivicSyrup 2025-10-03 13:15

I agree. Let's give this greedy pos everything he wants and watch him fail, or cheat, or tank the whole thing... Late stage capitalism needs to be exposed for the hsitshow it is. The system is broken, has been broken, and Musk is abusing it like Trump is abusing the broken political system. Stop fighting it. Embrace and watch the world burn.

SolutionWarm6576 2025-10-03 13:18

Some NY state Pension funds are essentially asking the Board to be replaced and asking shareholders to vote against Leon’s potential 1 trillion dollar compensation package.

SolutionWarm6576 2025-10-03 13:20

One Pennsylvania Pension fund already sold all its holdings some months back because of the extreme volatility of the stock. Usually extreme volatility is not good for a pension fund.

JohnHazardWandering 2025-10-03 13:27

Other reported that there are some of the targets are pretty easy so he'll likely hit those and get most of the shares. The rest of the targets might be more realistic.

Psykoth 2025-10-03 13:28

Is this how they get him to leave the company without firing him or any other disgrace? This could set up a, “Well, if you won’t pay me what I’m worth, I will focus on Mars,” moment where they can shed the negative brand perception from people who are not aligned with his political activity.

[deleted] 2025-10-03 13:30

hahaha pushback! From investors... hahahah yeah. Sure. They lie down on their bellies and ask for scraps! (very sternly)

ComicsEtAl 2025-10-03 13:39

No way. Really? Nah. Really though? The investors? That can’t be right.

[deleted] 2025-10-03 13:55

Meme stock

mallory6767 2025-10-03 13:55

Give the man his money. Rigging and influencing elections is an expensive business. Thanks Citizens United! /s

Dave_the_lighting_gu 2025-10-03 14:12

If you lie to the shareholders, then a vote is void. Beyond that, as shareholders, we should not be presenting to CEO's that these ridiculous payouts are acceptable.

boogermike 2025-10-03 14:19

For the record, at the time I was a stockholder and I did vote against it. In fact, that was the first shareholder vote I ever participated in.

foo-bar-25 2025-10-03 14:28

I don’t think investors need to worry much.

dagelijksestijl 2025-10-03 14:45

Tesla's main product is TSLA. The overinflated valuation can only exist with the Musk cult at the helm. The company is in such a poor state that it is questionable whether it even can be saved

[deleted] 2025-10-03 15:04

What the hell. Why does an individual need so much green.

agent674253 2025-10-03 15:28

Yeah, but Tesla is no longer in Delaware following the previous event. [https://news.bloomberglaw.com/esg/musk-shifts-tesla-incorporation-to-texas-after-investor-vote-1](https://news.bloomberglaw.com/esg/musk-shifts-tesla-incorporation-to-texas-after-investor-vote-1) $1 trillion in stock options, aside from the dilution to everyone else, is insane.

meshreplacer 2025-10-03 15:36

Won't this pay plan dilute existing shareholders?

pzerr 2025-10-03 15:45

The last wage could pay the wage of the CEO of Ford his full compensation/wage package for 200 years. Of whom I would say is one of the higher paid CEOs. And Ford is a much larger company employing far more people.

boogermike 2025-10-03 15:45

I divested most of my stock this year, and have a little bit left, just so I could vote down the sort of thing, but also because I didn't want to take my capital gains yet. I plan to get out very soon.

Belyea 2025-10-03 15:54

Honestly, this might be the clearest sign yet that Tesla is about to collapse. He’s clearing out the coffers in such a brazen way as the stock circles the drain.

nojunkdrawers 2025-10-03 16:05

No way that any one person is worth that much monetarily.

FaluninumAlcon 2025-10-03 16:14

He should be fired.

umbananas 2025-10-03 16:18

Why not 2 trillion?

winfredjj 2025-10-03 16:28

why dont they sell Tesla instead of dealing with these people. it is not like tsla is the only stock in town

Chance_Airline_4861 2025-10-03 16:37

Surprised its red

BajaRooster 2025-10-03 16:43

It wouldn’t be a stretch where the writing is on the wall that Tesla’s glory days are over and this is a way for him to exit with appearances intact. If he’s smart, which he is, he could have some offshore agreements to capitalize on when it collapses and then he gets to focus on rockets with pockets full of cash and fewer distractions. If the board is fired and Musk leaves, TSLA will head straight to $20. The reason the judge denied the pay package is because their submittal was misleading to shareholders.

EnigmaSpore 2025-10-03 17:11

regardless of the meme stock, 99% of inestors are up on TSLA so just set a stop loss and you're golden. the stock is absolute meme. treat it like one. that means. long it and keep that SL

RocketLabBeatsSpaceX 2025-10-03 18:41

There are so many better investments out there with far less risk of downside. I will absolutely not… lol

EnigmaSpore 2025-10-03 18:53

of course though. it's meme stock territory. those averse to risk, should absolutely stay away. but if you got a good entry... you have the priv to wait it out and just set a SL.

Far-Improvement-9266 2025-10-03 21:54

Honestly, there is nothing to worry about. He will never hit the metrics required for him to get the $1T bonus. It is literally the decade of stuff he has been saying he would have completed by now. Examples: 10M FSD Subscriptions 20M Units Sold 1M Robots Sold 1M Robotaxis in Operation And a sliding scale of EBITDA topping out at $400B And Finally, a required Market Value of $2T capping out at $8.5T. The only one attainable (In Musk's lifetime) and I hate to say this, is the market value. And that is only due to morons that actually think he could ever achieve these goals.

torokunai 2025-10-04 01:24

yes but on the shares they are voting they would be up multiples; kinda like the 2/20 fee asset managers charge Actually it's a 12% dilution in 12 tranches . . . the math works out to every $500B of growth, Elon pockets 10% and the shareholders get the remaining 90%. Which is kinda weird since he's doing zero work to actually earn this, unless lying on ECs is considered work.

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 02:55

Exactly, One thing he’s good at is lying

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 02:57

Especially a South African Nazi drug user and dictator who could be on the Epstein list.

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 03:01

Yeah I can’t imagine most pension fund holders want to be associated with a musk rat.

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 03:03

Absolutely

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 03:04

The 1 million robots is loosely written meaning he can sell robot cats robot dogs anything robotic it doesn’t have to be humanoid. Sneaky fucks

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 03:06

90% of a bowl of sand

torokunai 2025-10-04 03:14

Elon's mouth is the only thing that got TSLA to its current 220X P/E : )

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 03:17

You couldn’t be any more right.

techbunnyboy 2025-10-04 03:46

Oh no! That will stop all the innovation coming from his K Brain /s

torokunai 2025-10-04 04:07

"What I said specifically is that we’re between two major growth waves: the first driven by 3/Y platform since 2017 and the next one that will be driven by the next gen vehicle." -- Martin Viecha, ex VP of Investor Relations (when he said that I knew it was time to look for the door with my long position)

Purple_Power523 2025-10-04 04:08

Elon buy the entire supply of Shiba Inu to make everybody rich and you even richer and we can all buy Tesla rockets and spaceships houses cars, flying cars trips to Mars

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 04:18

I hear that I’m short the stock now. I’m down about 15 k but not selling. Sold for profit but not much when I was long but his shit is gonna catch up with him. I never bet more than I can afford to lose. Shall see

torokunai 2025-10-04 05:29

I've had my head handed to me since July but my thesis hasn't changed (and my puts still have plenty of theta). Hell, not a year ago this turd went from ATH to $220 in less than 3 months. That's all I ask! Elon added a lot of hedging in his promises for robotaxi in Q4, but what people heard was 'half the country by the end of the year". I'll take the under on that.

Far-Improvement-9266 2025-10-04 07:29

Wow, I didn't catch that. Still, don't see it happening though.

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 11:15

Did you ever see the movie I robot where they’re in the storage room with all the robots there’s only 1000 in there can you imagine having 1million that’s 1000 times the size of what they show their. The cost to build all his cyber cabs. tesla is hemorrhaging money! And now that car sales will definitely slow probably considerably since the tax credit is gone. Tesla has 130,000 employees that’s a lot of mouths to feed

Opening_Vegetable409 2025-10-04 11:20

Amazing pushback

y4udothistome 2025-10-04 11:24

He couldn’t even cover Texas there’s 268,000 mi.² in Texas 32 million people just think how many cars he would need for that your right and he is gonna cover 170 million. I honestly think the analysts that say he’s gonna do what he’s gonna do are bought out because no way they have enough money to do all this stuff especially if car sales fall off the cliff next quarter and the following quarters. In a scene from the movie I robot where they’re in the storage facility there’s 1000 robots in there he needs 1000 times that to equal 1 million robots I don’t see it happening I can’t even imagine how many cars it would take to cover half this country Uber has 8.8 million drivers. That doesn’t include Lyft cab companies limos buses it’s just not feasible sorry for ranting

BringBackUsenet 2025-10-04 18:05

That's all! Investors should be enraged over the things that have been going on there.

BringBackUsenet 2025-10-04 18:09

Does Tesla have any investors. All I see are gamblers.

BringBackUsenet 2025-10-04 18:11

I think this plan is their golden parachute so they can all leave with the company's market cap and leave someone else with the crumbs.

BringBackUsenet 2025-10-04 18:15

SO 1M Chinese windup toys qualify?

BringBackUsenet 2025-10-04 18:16

He's an egomanic. The numbers drive him.

beren12 2025-10-05 01:55

All he needs is a foot up his ass

patsj5 2025-10-05 04:46

Weren't they going move their incorporation to Texas specifically to avoid the Delaware judge?

StanchoPanza 2025-10-05 06:46

I don't think that voids the Delaware court decision; her ruling stands.

Timely_Huckleberry88 2025-10-16 19:11

I'm far from financial expert, but I would be careful saying that. I suspect there are ways the stock value CAN be manipulated to gain some percentage of the metrics. \- Tesla could acquire xAI and SpaceX thus brining up its market cap. \- Elon may be able to borrow against this current Tesla Stocks to acquire additional Tesla Stocks thus brining it's value \- There may be macro-economic factors such as quantitive easing OR inflation such that there is additional money in the US stock market? I may be VERY incorrect so if someone is an expert, please correct me.

Timely_Huckleberry88 2025-10-16 19:14

I think he's playing a dangerous game - I remember Warren Buffet was saying you need to be likable, otherwise you have the risk of the government (with pressure from the general population) to go after you.

Okidoky123 2025-11-06 23:53

Chances of me buying a Tesla just went from 0.001% to 0.000%. (I drive electric btw.)
