Tesla ads on Reddit pushing shareholders to enrich Elon even more, as though he's the only person who can lead the company, are so gross. I hope shareholders see through it and don

That 44B he paid to buy twitter is being used to brainwash people to vote on this scam.

flying_butt_fucker 2025-09-27 17:19

And now Trump has effectively bought TikTok no-one's safe for the endless stream of extremism.

CQscene 2025-09-27 17:20

It's just a marketing spend. Tesla is nothing w/o Elon lying on the earnings calls…

sam99871 2025-09-27 17:21

He is the only person who can keep the charade going. Without him the stock price will fall to $20, in line with other car companies.

Dewbs301 2025-09-27 17:22

Why is the “all” capitalized? Other than to emphasize the manipulative messaging?

nameless_pattern 2025-09-27 17:23

If morons could see through Elons lies, then  Tesla would have a PE ratio comparable to any of the industry competitors in whatever type of business Tesla is pretending to be this quarter.

cute_bark 2025-09-27 17:24

what's the plan exactly? be driven into the ground by a pedophile nazi? you can find people smarter and more ambitious in a college intro level classroom than this aging, useless husk of yesteryear

AdvantagePractical31 2025-09-27 17:28

Honestly he’s the reason the value is so inflated. They will vote yes to keep it going

DoubleFamous5751 2025-09-27 17:31

It is weird… but this vote will likely get approved by over 80%.

[deleted] 2025-09-27 17:33

The "double bladed Elon"  sounds like something Jack from 30 rock would talk about at corporate training.

dailo75 2025-09-27 17:44

Just another cult like MAGA

NtheLegend 2025-09-27 17:44

They don't want any confusion. Not "vote yes on issues A, B and D, No on C, E and F" they want you to vote yes for EVERYTHING because as soon as shareholders start rebelling against the board's recommendations, the stock price exposes itself to getting popped.

angryvetguy 2025-09-27 17:48

Have the markets priced in him being a pedo?

wootnootlol 2025-09-27 17:52

To be honest, he’s the only person who can lead this scam. Doesn’t make it any less of the scam. Shareholders can choose to either vote to try to continue this scam for some more time or vote to unwind it

Dommccabe 2025-09-27 17:57

The Board is just his family/ friends ... they don't care a bit about shareholders OR the business. They only care about getting MONEY to the top before they leave.

Erich_Ludendorff 2025-09-27 17:59

Is there any precedent for an advertising campaign to give a CEO a pay raise?

prsnep 2025-09-27 18:02

Without hyping about products that will be refined enough for general consumption in 10 years as if they are just around the corner.

[deleted] 2025-09-27 18:11

Who cares? With current us equity valuations, I'm careful about which companies in which to invest. For someone who isn't blindly invested in an index to remain invested in Tesla at these valuations is a fairly profound vote of confidence in Elon Musk's continuing performance. For these assets to remain in the hands of Elon Musk's backers or in the hands of Elon Musk himself doesn't seem to make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. If they're not going to be grifted by musk, it seems likely they'll be grifted by some other MAGA meme.

DotJun 2025-09-27 18:28

Do you think it matters to shareholders or that the majority believe everything musk says? What it comes down to is that $tsla is making a lot of people boatloads of cash whether the ticker goes up or down.

nameless_pattern 2025-09-27 18:39

Companies that are profitable and in line with their PE ratio that pay dividends make people rich.    Companies where investors have good information and use it to invest wisely make effective capital allocation and make markets more efficient. Companies where the price is way off of PE and that don't do dividends are zero-sum games where a bunch of people are taking other people's money but nothing of value is created by trading. This is a poker game where people are paying a giant premium for a fixed game, to prop up a drug addict Nazi.

GreatCaesarGhost 2025-09-27 18:41

Institutional investors are much more important, and they’re not on Reddit.

dagelijksestijl 2025-09-27 18:49

Somewhere around 40% of Tesla is held by retail.

W1z4rd 2025-09-27 19:02

Won't advertise to sell cars, but will advertise to get a ludicrous pay package. On brand!

meshreplacer 2025-09-27 19:02

Won’t this cause a price drop due to dilution of existing shareholders?

robertw477 2025-09-27 19:23

Tesla shareholders are unlike any public company I have ever heard of. They get screwed over and over and agree to it.

Happiness-to-go 2025-09-27 19:32

So the Ponzi scheme with a modest car manufacturer attached that makes toys for just Elon Musk to play with is pretending to be a real company but doing stuff real companies never do? Why does this read like Prodigy from Alien: Earth?

AndroidColonel 2025-09-27 19:32

>And now Trump has effectively bought TikTok no-one's safe for the endless stream of extremis Do you have a link to something that supports this?

DotJun 2025-09-27 19:34

In line pe like nvidia?

nameless_pattern 2025-09-27 19:39

Whole markets out of line. I'm sure it will continue to deviate from the mean for forever lol

Impossible-Beat-7411 2025-09-27 20:02

If Elon makes his bonus criteria, then I as a shareholder will be richer too. If you believe he’ll do it (which I guess is why you’re whinging) you could buy shares too. If you don’t believe it, then hey, it’s all academic.

NtheLegend 2025-09-27 20:05

You mean, the meme stock becomes more volatile and when the bubble pops, the trauma will be far more widely felt? I'd be fucking worried about that unless you have a small position.

DotJun 2025-09-27 20:06

Oh I agree with you there, but my point is that no one cares why, who, what, where or when as long as it’s making them money.

Not_A_Doctor__ 2025-09-27 20:10

You have to be a complete idiot to invest in a Musk company by this point. The remaining investors who are memeing the stock don't realize that Musk is trying to inflate his wealth even more before he cashes out. He knows his robots are shit. He knows that lawsuits will cripple the lies he can tell about FSD. And the "robotaxi" requires **even more resources to run** than a regular taxi. The man's businesses are shit. If you want some nightmares, read about the fucking abattoir of suffering that Neuralink has inflicted on thousands of animals. Elon Musk does have a few superpowers: unlimited lying, the ability to gather sycophants and a complete disregard for statutory obligations. He's an absolutely shit human being.

nameless_pattern 2025-09-27 20:16

That's the common thread in every pyramid scheme. The trick is to make sure that you are seated or out of the game when the music stops.  Get your bag. Just be aware that it's kind of immoral and at some point going to crash.

Opcn 2025-09-27 20:45

He did cart of the bulk of their hopes for the future to xAI. Anyone else in charge can't give back what he stole. It was an empty hope, but like those were real chips and real engineers.

Durzel 2025-09-27 21:08

The shareholders have no choice, really. Tesla’s stock value is disconnected from its fundamentals. The PE ratio is bonkers, and sales are doing nothing except going down. None of it matters because Wall Street just swallow whatever promise Musk makes. Bad news even makes the stock go up. Voting against it, and thereby making Elon throw his toys out of the pram, is like voting to lose 50%+ of the value of your investment. Tesla would honestly be better off as a business in the long term without him, but try convincing anyone of that. In the short term the stock would get tanked. Elon would publicly say that he’s going to “concentrate on my other companies”, etc. Thing is, even voting in favour of it isn’t going to make Elon care about cars, or the environment, anymore. He just doesn’t care. He’s not interested. But all the voters can do is vote for it and hope that it might incentivise him.

Brave_Nerve_6871 2025-09-27 21:14

About two weeks ago I read the story about how Elon's latest bonus package came to be. The board wants to keep Musk focused on Tesla and keep out of politics. Just a couple of days later Musk spoke via video at the "Tommy Robinson" far-right racist rally in London. So that went out the window fast enough.

flying_butt_fucker 2025-09-27 21:15

https://www.npr.org/2025/09/26/g-s1-90598/tiktok-deal-trump-oracle You just know that the new owners are going to push NPR content, right?

Bravadette 2025-09-27 22:46

They're just stuck. There's no way out.

Top_Junket2991 2025-09-27 22:51

I think the race might be tight. Elon had to buy shares to grow his vote % in order to sway vote. Also might be where he said he'd buy shares if others supporting him do so as well.  Which is fine. The people who oppose will lose and sell shares. But he will keep and his supporters, which will hurt them more when it goes back to $100 (a time when there was a 6 months wait list to get a tesla unlike today)

detroitsongbird 2025-09-27 22:57

Murdoch? lol. Nice try.

Charming-Tea644 2025-09-27 23:49

CHINA HAS ELON BEAT IN AI AND CARS CHECK IT OUT

elysium_pictures 2025-09-28 02:55

Well said 👏 I agree on everything 🤝

seejur 2025-09-28 02:58

Nvidia somehow (imho) is not the case: They do provide a lot of value in term of producing a shitton of cards for gaming and especially AI. The problem is more down the way: AI is useless, so those companies which buy a shitton of cards, cannot make any kind of value/profit

flying_butt_fucker 2025-09-28 03:44

In Dutch, but researchers have proven that TikTok’s algo is pushing extremist right wing content to folk that isn’t looking for it. This has been happening for some time already, what do you think will happen when this regime gets their hands on it?

frivol 2025-09-28 04:43

But robot taxis!

SasquatchEatsShit 2025-09-28 06:37

Common sense.

SasquatchEatsShit 2025-09-28 06:40

Not retail, just not the intelligent amongst us.

y4udothistome 2025-09-28 10:56

If it wasn’t for the analysts this stock would be dropping they just keep pumping. No specifics just keep giving you larger numbers. It should be highly illegal

I-Pacer 2025-09-28 11:28

Even Tesla thinks they are an authoritarian organisation. “Vote in line with the board’s recommendations on ALL proposals.” No. Vote what you think best represents your interests as a shareholder. Fucking corporate fascism on full display.

bthest 2025-09-28 23:43

There's a way out. Through a high-rise window.

Youngnathan2011 2025-09-28 23:47

How can anyone think this is a good ad? Makes it sound like he's keeping the company hostage or something

Youngnathan2011 2025-09-28 23:57

Even if people vote yes on everything, he's still gonna dedicate as much time as he already does on Tesla, which is basically none.

Brave_Nerve_6871 2025-09-29 07:49

This seems so obvious to me too. He sees Tesla as a nuisance and a personal purse

[deleted] 2025-09-29 10:46

Last time I saw something similar it was a Crypto scam. Get the coins. Rise. Rugpull. Bye

SirLanceQuiteABit 2025-09-29 12:34

Why do you think the SP is up 25% this month?

That-Whereas3367 2025-09-29 15:14

Nvidia are funding startups that buy their hardware. It's a Ponzi.

FutureBiotechVenture 2025-09-29 21:35

A few people at Neuralink are ok. Many left because of that nazi musk fuck, but a few people are good. I don't support them but if ex-Neuralink folks are looking for a job \*or any ex-musk-companies are looking for a job we should support them

Buggg- 2025-09-30 00:40

If the board had a chance to get rid of Elon they could make the company a fortune. His ‘expertise’ and marketing shenanigans are over. His fascist views have damaged future sales that likely can’t recover until he is gone. They need to hire someone with integrity and ‘vanilla’ flavoring - someone boring and doesn’t offend anyone. After Musk replacement, an audit of the lies and misleading of shareholders could lead to a lawsuit to return a lot of value back to the company…

Prestigious_Buddy312 2025-09-30 05:55

dont get your hopes up. tsla is 💯 tied to elon himself. he leaves and the stock goes caboom.

Numerous_Ship6129 2025-09-30 07:00

Buy some shares and then you can vote

Legitimate_Manner641 2025-10-02 16:30

Nazi???? do you even know what a Nazi is???? Unbelievable what people say about other people I guess it’s their way of letting the anger out.

nameless_pattern 2025-10-02 17:08

Yeah, I do. Unbelievable how delusional you Fanboys and bots are.

AndroidColonel 2025-10-06 06:41

I'm not sure where the sarcasm and downvotes are coming from. I simply asked where your comments were sourced. I'm neither arguing nor even discussing the subject matter. I just wanted to see where you were coming from.
