After the weekend he should be on every watch list.

ircsmith 2025-09-14 23:34

NO way would I want a single volatile person in control of my home energy. A volatile white supremacist narcissist.

foo-bar-25 2025-09-14 23:35

Just need to add solar shingles to all the roofs. Too bad they don’t really exist.

bitchcoin5000 2025-09-15 00:17

He should have the ability to speak in in the same way that any clown can speak when they want to and then you tune them out and get on about the serious business without Colonel Ketamine

[deleted] 2025-09-15 01:21

The question we should be asking is why anyone would consider a Musk enterprise a viable option for any infrastructure. He said he had solar shingles and they didn't exist, he promised automated glass pods racing in underground tubes at speed and instead made a few miles of tarmacked sewer pipe that he filled with ordinary manned taxis. He wasted a literal fortune on a lithium cell format that nobody wanted, nobody else uses, and as it turns out has no net benefit over the common 18650-type. I mean just ignoring the warped beliefs and inflammatory behaviour of that racist goblin, looking purely and objectively at his track record should be enough to dissuade anyone of any political persuasion from trusting him to fulfil his end. You have to either be a Musk sycophant or the most illogical unreasonable business-ignorant moron on the planet.

South-Play-2866 2025-09-15 03:46

Sounds like just what the stock needs to hit $450

xtothewhy 2025-09-15 04:01

It's disappointing it jumps so high and on such uneventful news where it's nowhere near doing anything significant and only on the hope it will and with one states approval to start to try. This stock has consistently been pushed higher than it should be for quite awhile now.

Jaguarmadillo 2025-09-15 04:37

And a nazi don’t forget. An apartheid loving fascist. Who wouldn’t want such a person with his feet under the table in their country

zedk47 2025-09-15 05:14

Not enough pumping buyers in the US?

Real-Technician831 2025-09-15 05:25

TBH this is about a country that did Brexit. So they do have a track record on absolutely boneheaded decisions. Just wait until Conservatives slither into power again.

Real-Technician831 2025-09-15 05:27

They do, by other companies than Tesla that is. We were considering those from Estonian installer, but our building permit allowed only tile or tin roof.

Withnail2019 2025-09-15 07:05

No need, he has no ability to supply anyone's home energy.

Withnail2019 2025-09-15 07:06

Yeah they do indeed now, you can buy them from Ali Express.

War_Fries 2025-09-15 07:17

That was already the case before the weekend. But yeah, even more so now.

Real-Technician831 2025-09-15 07:19

We were choosing our roof and panel type in 2021, so solar tiles are not that new thing.

Withnail2019 2025-09-15 07:50

I dont think they're worth buying to be honest, they do technically work but power output is very low compared to normal panels.

fastwriter- 2025-09-15 08:23

This time it will be even worse. Because it will be the Trump Minions of Reform in Power destroying what’s left of Britain. Naive that many Brits even after the Brexit Referendum thought, their Country is immune to Right Wing Populism. It showed in 2016 and now rears its ugly head again. But this time even worse and even more destructive. And Musk is sponsoring this.

fastwriter- 2025-09-15 08:27

In Germany you can install Solar Shingles for almost 10 years now. It’s really no Innovation from Tesla. It’s only the American ignorance that makes them believe every shit Musk says. Hell, a lot of Americans to this day believe, that the Tunnel Boring Machine is Musks invention.

drew630 2025-09-15 08:33

He has a trillion dollar incentive with Tesla, a history of labor violations, environmental violations, and lying. Combine that with his political rhetoric, involvement with US elections and then DOGE, there’s no way anyone should in any way support Tesla’s expansion and have Elon in a position to disadvantage the UK or receive his incentive where he could become even more dangerous than he is.

Stock_Put_5163 2025-09-15 08:49

Tesla will provide cheaper energy cost than competitors. Consumer in UK will lose out if they reject Tesla.

YamatoRyu2006 2025-09-15 08:50

He is basically an super incompetent useless rich moron at this point. He might have been sort of an engineer back in his youth but he lost that all. The only reason Teslas sell is because of the Elon hype. Even Elon's wealth is also quite volatile & significantly dependent on the overhyped Tesla stock.

Real-Technician831 2025-09-15 08:55

Hmm, the output of total system was about the same as with traditional panels. Of course there could simply be more active units, as tiles were obviously a good bit more expensive, and part of that cost could be simply more panels.

Centralredditfan 2025-09-15 09:16

Those thicker cells have no benefit? I didn't know that. Figured they were at least lighter on account of using less metal.

[deleted] 2025-09-15 09:19

Oh no, he was never an engineer. He wasn't even a minimally competent programmer. He only has one measly shred of code publicly available with his name attached to it, and that's Blastar, which wasn't a game so much as it was a plagiarised sprite mover written in Assembly that he edited slightly. Supposedly he did write code for his online "bank" prior to the Coinfinity merger but Coinfinity had to throw away literally all of it on day one because it was such unsalvageable vomit. He also threw a public tantrum a few years back because he couldn't figure out how to run a 10-line python script given to him by Jackson Palmer. The script is so basic it doesn't need commenting for even the most junior developer with no python experience to understand, and even still it's heavily commented, literally baby-proofed. He still had to ask Palmer verbatim "how do I run this Python script?". Pathetic. The dude is verifiably not an engineer though, he doesn't even understand the basic concept of sensor fusion as evidenced by his recent tweets, and he constantly anthropomorphises that shitty edgelord LLM of his.

[deleted] 2025-09-15 09:22

Nope, they just added a massive retooling cost and a drop in cell reliability and cell stability. That's why no other manufacturer has ever been interested in them, they're just bad.

RagingDemonsNoDQ 2025-09-15 09:24

He who giveth, taketh away. Tesla is also losing in sales due to Elon as well.

CarsCarpal 2025-09-15 09:44

What did I miss? Hard to keep up with all his fascism these days.

[deleted] 2025-09-15 10:37

He’s already shown that he will cut off services when it suits his personal aims. Why would anyone buy anything off his companies?

Theferael_me 2025-09-15 10:42

Choosing to become the spokesman for far-right movements in the UK by telling thousands of white supremacists to "fight or die".

Theferael_me 2025-09-15 10:43

But how incredibly dumb would you have to be to fall for Farage's bullshit twice in such quick succession.

Theferael_me 2025-09-15 10:45

If it comes with a side-helping of far-right extremism, I think most consumers in the UK would rather 'lose out'.

Theferael_me 2025-09-15 10:45

At least someone in the UK is speaking out against him because Starmer sure as fuck isn't doing anything.

horace_bagpole 2025-09-15 11:22

Here are some that exist: https://roofit.solar/ Not a cheap option for a retrofit, but if you were changing your roof completely or building a new property they might be worth it. They are definitely effective though. There was a Grand Designs episode that used them and it produced more power than they could export.

YamatoRyu2006 2025-09-15 13:17

i know that he didn't have any idea about databases by seeing his SQL tweet a few months back, but i didn't expect him to be a total non-technical person. It seems he grew only because of his connections with the PayPal mafia.

CarsCarpal 2025-09-15 13:27

Right, thanks. For an immigrant, he sure is very vocal about other countries and their own policies.

Theferael_me 2025-09-15 13:30

Yeah but he's white so in his mind he's different. There's not even anything special about his far-right extremism. The only thing that makes him stand out is his vast reach via Twitter and political influence. Otherwise he's just a bog standard, ten-a-penny racist.

[deleted] 2025-09-15 14:35

That's precisely it, the man has been larping as a dev for decades but he hasn't got a clue.

fastwriter- 2025-09-15 16:36

Is this a rethorical question?

Sad-Proof-3283 2025-09-15 18:27

omg this would be horrific, this safa nazi ket head meddles enough already

South-Play-2866 2025-09-15 23:16

Now it makes a lot more sense why the stock has been kept afloat on no-news. Elong bought a lot of shares. Really curious where the money came from, I thought he already had loans out for business use? 🤔 Seems like a conflict of interest for a bank to give out loans to purchase that many shares…. Which causes the price to climb, benefiting any bank with Tesla in its portfolio.

Grunge4U 2025-09-16 04:11

Almost nothing in the media about Musk far right rants. The rich now control the media

xtothewhy 2025-09-16 06:50

Helps to have access to billions. Loans he uses and can likely write off interest in some way that doesn't help the regulars tax payers
