Does each walk by the line accelerate the progress by 1% or 5%? Need to make sure I update my models, and depending on that variable, TSLA price target is between $5740 and $8684.
Hey Samsung! Go ahead, ask Panasonic how their partnership with Tesla went! Go on...ask them! Don't say I didn't warn ya! Samsung out here doing " but I'm different." No, Samsung, he does it to all his partners!
Maybe if in the next earnings profits drop by more 16% price will reach your top range of $8684 LoL
And kids…. This is why Samsung no longer exists
So samsung made a14 chips for FSD and FSD sucks donkeyballs. Then TMS made a15 chips for FSD and FSD sucks donkeyballs. So now Samsung will make a16 and FSD will suck donkeyballs. This announcement means nothing.
Yeah. If anything, it makes them look like they fell for Elmo's bs. They should do like Panasonic and walk back their commitment. After all, Tesla walks back deals all the time. Their word means nothing. https://asia.nikkei.com/Business/Electronics/Panasonic-delays-full-production-at-US-battery-plant-as-Tesla-sales-drop
Apparently these are for the ‘next generation’ HW 5 version, and even HW 6. So basically acknowledging that all the customers who paid tens of thousands for their ‘true FSD’ on HW4 were lied to… even more so for the HW3 owners who were promised a ‘free’ upgrade.
If you can’t trust a drug using nazi who can you trust. I wonder if he was using ketamine with the friends star.
all it means is that they're already admitting the ai5 chips that I don't even think are out yet can handle FSD. so by the time they get to ai8 and it sorta kinda works theyll have to upgrade all the ai3-7 folks
Too bad I cannot boycott Samsung anymore because most of their stuff is trash and I stopped getting them a long time ago.
I've never read anything bad about the Panasonic-Tesla partnership.
Behind the paywall. [https://archive.ph/90012](https://archive.ph/90012)
LOL. I paid $12,000 for what I was told would eventually drive me from LA to NYC. AI3 will NEVER do that. It barely drives on its own as is.
I don't get why this bumped Tesla stock price aside from the stock price generally being irrational. Yes, Tesla agreed to buy something from the distant second place vendor with struggling sales. Big whoop.
Samsung's desperately looking for any customers to make their fab investment worth something.
of course, tesla agreed to spend 1.5 billion on some technology from samsung, of course this has to bump the stock at least 10% \*sarcasm off\*
Yes, well Panasonic pulled out of their partnership with Tesla over some shady shit Tesla did. Tesla was supposed to manufacture their solar panels together with Panasonic in the US, but Tesla ended up outsourcing the work to China, because cheaper. This article doesn't say that, but that is exactly what was happening. Also they were supposed to hire a certain number of people for supposed high-skill jobs. They did not. So Panasonic has learned their lesson. https://www.solarpowerworldonline.com/2020/02/panasonic-is-leaving-teslas-solar-panel-gigafactory-in-buffalo/#:~:text=When%20SolarCity%20purchased%20module%20manufacturer,departure%20in%20a%20statement%20yesterday.
This isn't really a partnership, Tesla is just a customer here.
Serious question: why are you and other owners not initiating a class action lawsuit for false advertising?
Tesla in the news == TSLA +5% It doesn't make sense but it's certainly historically accurate
He said he is going to upgrade it. I think he is figuring out giving out a bunch of upgrades is not cost effective. Personally I doubt Tesla will upgrade people to HW4. I have HW3 in my 2018 Model 3 that was originally HW2.5. When they give up is when people probably sue. I want to sell mine when the Rivian 3/3x comes out but I may just keep it for the upgrade lols.
This continues to confound me.
Stock goes up no matter what.
You mean, at the TX fab that has been delayed? [Samsung delays $44 billion Texas chip fab — sources say completion halted because 'there are no customers'](https://www.tomshardware.com/tech-industry/semiconductors/samsung-delays-usd44-billion-texas-chip-fab-sources-say-completion-halted-because-there-are-no-customers)
Most owners are tied to arbitration. When buying a Tesla you have a short window to opt out of that and most don't do it (due to not knowing about it).
That doesn't matter, plenty of people got their money back with arbitration. It might be even easier.
But you can't do a class action lawsuit. And I doubt we would hear about arbitration cases. But maybe I'm wrong as I have no real legal knowledge.
Oh this is easy, in the contract when you get FSD, it states a person cannot join a group for a class action lawsuit. Tesla was already thinking ahead of their scam.
No demand for chips of this type in America because America does not produce mobile phones or similar devices.
So how does this fix Tesla's falling Sales numbers? You can buy all the chips you want but if nobody ends up buying the cars it means nothing.
Tesla was so insistent they speed things up their scrap rate was insane up front. https://www.greencarreports.com/news/1122728_report-tesla-panasonic-battery-waste-could-lead-to-battery-flaws
Hertz 2.0.
I'll edit your comment for you: I've never read.
I saw that new Samsung factory in Texas on my way to my buddies house, crazy how big it is. Was pretty cool to see how something like that is built. They have a city of temp houses around it for all the people building it.
Same way the diner fixes them or Optimus does. (They don't but they can add some numbers to the share price).
"initially in Taiwan, then in Texas" Translation: "forever in Taiwan, never in Texas." Stock price... Up 1000%
Nothing can handle FSD because it's foundationally flawed.
Samsung losing money on that deal
