Whats the relation to Tesla here?

After reading the article, I don't think it applies to Tesla at all. It sounded more like for startup EV companies.

The competition in the sector.

From the r/RealTesla rules: "Posts, both text and link, must relate to Tesla or the **EV** or AV **market space in which they compete**." (my emphasis)

Believe it or not, RealTesla doesn't have to be about Tesla specifically. On topic includes other news that could relate to Tesla, such as the Chinese market of EVs. It becomes moderator opinion on when a topic strays too far however. Alternatively, some Teslagenial topics (ex: Elon Musks politics) overwhelm us and we are forced to cut off the discussion.

It's classic market bullying tactics from the big guys. Strangle the competition in its infancy, before they get to grow. BYD's price cuts have been brutal. China doesn't need 50 different EV makers, but they need to make sure they don't go down to 3 or 4 either.
