I don’t own a Tesla but I am 99% sure the Model 3 and Model Y do not have satellite radio capability. The Model S and Model X include satellite but they are priced much higher as you know

If you're hauling kids, Model Y. Model 3 if you're not.
The 3/Y don't have a SiriusXM radio, but you can stream it from the Tesla mothership if you subscribe to Premium Connectivity for $10/mth.
I know this is the wrong subreddit to say this, but I think they are great cars

The reason there are great deals is because other automakers like BYD are eating their lunch, and tsla quality is questionable in general, being very corrosion vulnerable, a test here in scandinavia showed excessive rustimg from road salt on tsla vehicles, as you are from canada this would be an issue for you too.

You say that you “hate Elon and his political stances”, but buying a Tesla (new *or* used) helps his cult dismiss his “political stances” via “stonk price, bro”.
But if you are insistent…
Take into consideration that while Tesla has an excellent crash safety rating (that is, you are likely to survive a crash, at least at first…) it has more passenger immolation deaths than any other vehicle due to the fact that the doors don’t work when the power is cut.

In addition to the great deals, they all come free of charge with Elon’s new AI assistant, MechaHitler. I say if you want a deal, don’t mind mediocre quality, and place a high value on fascism, you found your new car.

There are even better deals on Lucid. You should at least check it out. You can get in one for a little over $500/month (lease). I’ve own Tesla MS and Lucid kills it

If you hate Elon, why buy a car from a company where Elon has made more money than 99.9% of the people who work there . . . COMBINED.
Getting that out of the way.
The Model 3 is the best car as Tesla never figured out a great suspension system for such a heavy car, so the lightest car is best. But the Model Y has more room. Model S and X don't sell anymore (for obvious reasons) as well as Cybertruck is considered a flop by Elon's own dick glazers.
If you are going to buy a Tesla, just get it used. people will say the new technology is better. . . It's not. The difference between the 2018 Model 3 and the 2023 model 3 was a newer battery pack with 15% more range (after wear and tear). Why buy a new 2025, when you can buy a used 2023 for 50% off. . . and if HW4 actually becomes full self driving in 3 years ( it won't, but like Elon let's play pretend) you sell the 2023 for minimal loss in depreciation and get a 2026 for 50% off. You pay less and end up with a better car.

Stellantis, Ford and GM are all cutting their electric vehicle budgets to appease Fuhrer Trump. Kia and Hyundai are both quite expensive and VW is expensive. Rivian and Lucid are way out of my price range. Tesla is run by a dick face. but it is still the most affordable electric vehicle in North America.

I love howTesla fans always talk about irrelevancies like music streaming or steam games.

In two years when Tesla is bankrupt you will own a brick. No company is going to buy Tesla because it is unprofitable and it's technology is crap. Tesla has no spare parts inventory, no independent dealerships and their are no alternative spare parts suppliers.

No, They are cutting budgets because the entire EV industry is intrinsically unprofitable. Mass production EV cars wouldn't even exist without subsidies and tax credits.

I believe SXM can be included. As a 2023 Model Y Performance owner, I will tell you to verify options carefully. I believe SXM is an "option" so it's an extra. The option that surprised me was that the remote garage door opener is an "option".
If it's important to you, my Model Y has a pretty stiff ride, I've been told by a couple people that this is a factor with the "Performance" model Y.
