The Rimac Nevera R goes from 0 to 60 in 1.66 seconds. Its top speed is 260 MPH. It costs 2.3 million Euros. They are only going to build about 40 of them. Musk thinks he can mass produce something like that (with a battery pack big enough to go 600 miles) only better? Nope. We've seen this before in the Cybertruck promises. If Tesla comes out with a roadster, it will go 0 to 60 in 2 seconds, have a top speed of 160, and go 350 miles on a single charge. Oh, and cost $130,000. He will sell 4000 in year one because roadsters are not very useful. Tesla will lose money on the endeavor but the Board of Directors will be cool with it because the stock price will have jumped 10%.
