It would appear that Tesla is doing what BYD is. Registering new cars then selling them to used car dealers to pump delivery numbers. There's dozens like this in my area and they all say 'new arrival' with virtually no miles.

It's far worse. You can understand people not buying a Tesla for fear of being vandalized. Why bother with the headache. But so far, I haven't heard of any Teslas being vandalized in Canada. Other than my insurance rates going up for absolutely no fucking reason, driving a Tesla is the same as driving any other car. Other cars on the road aren't aggressive to me, or flipping me the finger, or anything. (btw, I bought my Tesla in 2020, long before all this shit).
So when sales are going to zero, it's because Musk has destroyed the brand. Even cheap financing isn't enough to lure people back in even.

I think the Canadian Government should update auto safety laws to mandate that car dashes have buttons that can be navigated by touch and handles that are in plain sight and cannot be recessed so they can be reached for and pulled open without being hidden behind any kind of panels. Even without the CEO's antics, Tesla vehicles have novel design for novelty's sake that is unintuitive, making them into dangerous death traps when a panicking driver or passenger needs to get out of a burning vehicle and seconds matter.

So their punishment is that they don’t get to keep the money they stole and they won’t be able to participate in any potential future incentive program. This seems like a potential punishment, rather than a punishment. It’s amazing how easily corporations get off for a huge theft when an individual gets harshly punished for the theft of a fraction of the amount.
Jonesy1966

Automatic_Soil9814

That’s what I’m saying, not being able to keep the fraudulent claims you made isn’t really a punishment, that’s just how getting caught stealing works. You don’t get to keep what you steal.
They don’t get to make claims in the future, but if they’re currently isn’t an incentive program, it’s not clear how big, if any, punishment will be.
If there is no new incentive program, it’s possible that their only punishment is that they don’t get to keep what they steal, which isn’t really punishment.

In old feudalism, if a noble killed a peasant, everyone knew it was different than a peasant killing a noble. People didn’t like that and revolted.
In neo-feudalism, rich people don’t always get away with crimes (sometimes even negligent homicide) but companies do. Of course those crimes were done by the company to benefit the owners, who are people, but they are shielded from liability.
It really such a smarter way to do it (from the Lord’s perspective). All the profits of crime, none of the revolts. Hell, the peasants will even vote for the absolutely pro-Lord party over the mostly pro-Lord party.

I owned a eqe at start of year and it just blew up on me out of nowhere after 4000kms and MB took full responsibility but icbc still gave them 66k and I have. A $140claikm on my insurance. Not one tech could fix the car. Not a debt or scratch on it. Just died. While purchasing it they were basically jumping up and down proud saying that their tech level is further then mars compared to Teslas. While my eqe couldn't even stay in the lines of the road. And has the most restrictions I've ever seen fkn liars. Fk evs fk MB and fk all these politicians. If space x goes to China we fkt. And I think 7 on a vin is German no? The richest country out the EU. Texas move for musk was planned. All his moves are purposely dun. Liquid cash flows and that well will run. Dry how many times has he been tried to be kicked out of Tesla CEO. Since he was not the founder remember that. He lies a lot like his water engine. Or that he has no rare earth in his battery productions. Pffff Apple Samsung Google are the real cobalt criminals not Tesla? Okay. China has 150 ev companies. Which we all can't have access to and cheap with future innovative tech. To get rid of the giant or elephant in the room make or let the competition in dipshits. Tarrifs ain't hurting anyone but the poor. And ones who care. We have no knowledge of China's intentions and creations same with Rus. So beware. The briks own u and. Have all the cards. Covid was a hand played by China betrayed by the infamous dr falsey. Everything comes full circle. I'm scared shitless of ai. Mara sounds good cus he knew AI would eventually become owners of us. Binary and AI less then ten years. Good bye simple life. Good bye ice and glaciers. China makes highly illegal moves. They own Africa. U watch. They own MG? A uk company? Canada right in the too. Vinfast almost bankrupt why cut off a man who trying to help average people. Make universal income. Make ibogaine a pharma drug and return the profits to everyone who's lost their loved ones to China's major card. Fenty. Why we the only dumbasses to use the shit too late. Biden fkt every single thing up. I knew he would. Signing shit he had no idea what it says. Facts. So evil is on the rise in a unstoppable unbelievable hurry
