TLDR: Tesla is the only EV maker with a negative net positivity score. Honda sits at the top with 38%, Tesla is at -10%. This bodes well.

CommercialKangaroo16 2025-07-01 18:08

And water is wet

crosstheroom 2025-07-01 18:08

Awesome.

Apprehensive-Box-8 2025-07-01 18:12

Is it, though?

LVegasGuy 2025-07-01 18:15

Elon will always have his fanboys the question is will they buy his cars and not just the stock.

th3bigfatj 2025-07-01 18:18

the only elon fanboys left are stock holders now.

ctiger12 2025-07-01 18:18

Interesting to see something that both sides agree with, I can’t see anything else

NoIncrease299 2025-07-01 18:24

That's unfortunate.

PossumTrashGang 2025-07-01 18:24

4-D chess move from Elon, he lost the support of ~everyone~

North-Calendar 2025-07-01 18:29

all he has to do is nothing! Just clock in clock out in tesla and pump stock in joe rogan, boom easy first trillionaire

BidAccomplished4641 2025-07-01 18:30

I’m genuinely surprised by how many people I see on the “other” Tesla subs excited about getting new Teslas. Just don’t care? Head in the sand?

Greenpoint_Blank 2025-07-01 18:34

** pushing up my glass** No. Water makes things wet. It in and of itself isn’t actually wet.

followtharulez 2025-07-01 18:35

Who will buy this company in 24 months? All units sold will need parts to keep running. The resell value will drop through the floor. Edolf should step down to save it. How about the workers? A rough road ahead, pun intended.

North-Outside-5815 2025-07-01 18:39

I know an Elon fanboy who used to have a huge % of his assets in Tesla stock. When his old car gave out, I expected him to buy a used model Y, but he got some petrol burner instead. After Elon went full Nazi, I think he woke up enough to start selling at least some of his shares.

Exciting_Turn_9559 2025-07-01 18:39

The fossil fuel billionaires who have been funding this fascist movement from the beginning could not be more pleased to see Elon take the fall for them and wipe out Tesla on the way down. They have gotten everything they wanted, including keeping the spotlight off of them.

bpm6666 2025-07-01 18:40

Wouldn't it be funny, if Elon Musk ends the culture war by providing a common ground. Soon everybody could agree that they hate Musk.

Large-Ad-9156 2025-07-01 18:48

Looks like all sides have something in common, could be a foundational principle for a new america party. VOX POPULI, VOX DEI!!

Large-Ad-9156 2025-07-01 18:49

VOX POPULI, VOX DEI!! The people have spoken!

skoalbrother 2025-07-01 18:52

The people have spoken using the only language assholes like elon know, money

XKeyscore666 2025-07-01 18:57

Him clocking in is probably a net negative. What could he possibly contribute outside of calling meetings with the people who actually run the company? I envision him as a character in HBOs Silicon Vally: a composite of every CEO who failed upwards out of the first tech boom. He's the ideas guy who makes ridiculous demands of the engineers, who can't say no to the celebrity, and have no choice but to bring a crappy version of the idea to market.

jd33sc 2025-07-01 18:57

Eventually they'll get wives or girlfriends and drift off.

zedk47 2025-07-01 19:01

No shit

Turbulent-Phone-8493 2025-07-01 19:12

DEUS VOX!

SirLoin05 2025-07-01 19:14

If a water molecule can make something wet, doesn't it make the water molecule next to it wet?

Greenpoint_Blank 2025-07-01 19:18

Wetness as a concept only exists when liquid adheres to a solid surface. At least that is what Elon’s mom told me. HEYOO

Ill_Somewhere_3693 2025-07-01 19:34

First, Elon burns the bridge to the ‘progressive Left’ who composed the vast majority of his Tesla customer base, you know, the ones who made him into the richest douche on earth, AND then burns the bridge to the alt Right/MAGA crowd, who were only reluctantly willing to buy his cars. So what’s he got left now???

Fun_Volume2150 2025-07-01 20:08

He’d have to sell his shares, too. And the company would need a complete rebrand.

habfranco 2025-07-01 20:20

14yo edgelords (and bots)

SirLoin05 2025-07-01 20:34

You used the words wetness and Elon's mom in the same sentence. I'm going to go throw up now. Thanks.

Rockeye7 2025-07-01 21:09

FOFO !

Greenpoint_Blank 2025-07-01 21:09

You are welcome

motorbikler 2025-07-01 21:13

Master strategist. He's playing both sides!

ZanoCat 2025-07-01 22:09

Come on Elon you can do it! Save yourself before you're deported by your own ideas and your loving Orange friend! Thoughts and prayers.

Secondchance002 2025-07-01 22:23

But but my survey on xitter says 80% Americans will support my new political party.

PilotKnob 2025-07-01 22:27

Good. At least *something* is right with the world right now.

LLMprophet 2025-07-01 22:38

Robotaxi failures exposing FSD limitations and danger. TSLA been dropping every day for the past week. Trump threatening to cut off Tesla's main financial crutch and to deport Elon are adding to the insane pressure for TSLA to get down to single digits. Also, the BBB passed which will hurt Elon immensely.

criloz 2025-07-01 22:52

This guy could have been in a coma for the past 10 years or so, and most people would have been convinced that he was the materialization of Tony Stark. It just shows that sometimes doing nothing is the best thing that you can do

analyticaljoe 2025-07-01 23:48

ABT. Anything but Tesla. It's Elon's fault. It was his choice to get involved in the 2024 election. Fuck this fascist guy.

ad-astra-specta 2025-07-02 01:48

Robotaxi! It'll fix everything.

NotAcutallyaPanda 2025-07-02 01:53

Fun fact: robotaxi is not capable sensing that it has been drenched in Liquid Ass.

rbetterkids 2025-07-02 05:18

Yet Tesla is the only car manufacturer with the highest stock value. All car manufacturers combined do not equal 1 Tesla stock. This guy really pulled some strings to inflate Tesla's stocks.

atpplk 2025-07-02 06:44

I would say they hold bags more than stock.

Odd-Adagio7080 2025-07-02 07:58

Yeah, I love how he does these “surveys” in his own social media platform. No risk of skewed results there, eh?

Sartres_Roommate 2025-07-02 09:23

Most of the holders now definitely bought high and are just holding out of desperation to not lose money and FOMO of some miracle new Musk plan to “build electric airliners by second quarter of 2026”

ScoobyGDSTi 2025-07-02 10:55

You grossly overestimate the importance of Tesla in the EV market. Tesla could cease to exist tomorrow and it won't change the rise and growth of the EV market globally.

DeadJango 2025-07-02 11:37

What do you mean pissing everyone off is bad for me?

[deleted] 2025-07-02 11:40

What was the most important lesson learned during Trump's first presidency? Association is death.

Exciting_Turn_9559 2025-07-02 13:46

I am aware. But Tesla was the pioneer, and the fossil fuel fascists are tenting their fingers with satisfaction of watching his dumb ass get reamed.

th3bigfatj 2025-07-02 14:58

Yep. the valuation is insane though by any measure. Tesla is a shrinking/declining car company right now. It has FSD and its level 2 driver assistance is ahead of, say, Ford's (but maybe not Hyundai's) but its main claim to fame is they let you push it far further than it should be trusted for safety reasons. Looking at its sales, which just came in this morning, it missed again and declined by 13% year over year. And it's cybertruck sales, which are lumped in with model S and Model X sales, were just a few thousand for the whole quarter (CT + S + X were 10k). It might be selling roughly 2,000 cybertrucks per month and that's after dropping the price to about $62k after the federal tax incentive which will probably be gone soon. The CT is a complete flop! And we see now that FSD still isn't even near safe or ready. Pushing it onto roads is one way to try to force it to progress further but I think they're simply going to create ever-more-dangerous situations as they go from a tiny geofenced-and-specially mapped area in Austin to more general roads. They're moving very recklessly compared to Waymo and still at least half a decade behind where Waymo is. I don't believe they're anywhere near FSD being ready to deliver profits to the company, but even if they were they're drastically overestimating how much money it *could* make. additionally, the robot story is simply absurd. It exists just to pump the stock price. Holders at this price either believe the market will continue to be irrational on tesla or, if they actually believe the tesla narrative, they're just cult members who can't see straight.

Fockelot 2025-07-02 18:05

Good

Inevitable-Sale3569 2025-07-02 18:56

I wonder how his carbon credit scheme is faring under the Republicans anti-environment scheme? That seems like the only thing that was paying the bills for Tesla.

ScoobyGDSTi 2025-07-02 23:00

At this point we all are. The fascists and the normies. Elon has managed to piss off every possible demographic world over

Exciting_Turn_9559 2025-07-02 23:01

Ain't that the truth.

SurfSorcerer 2025-07-03 02:35

It’s like an extraterrestrial invasion. How ironic.

SurfSorcerer 2025-07-03 02:41

Oh absolutely spot on. This sort of character trope applies to so many bosses at all levels. You know how Elon somehow thinks like Weyland-Yutani and Tyrell Corp are the babyfaces of their respective movies? No shit I worked under a dept head who compared our dept to Succession like it was a good thing. Dark triad Peter Principle types have fucking killed this country.

[deleted] 2025-07-03 07:05

Tesla plummets in the eyes of Democrats because Elon is a douchebag, he allied himself with a pro fossil fuel fascist presidential candidate, the Tesla models are old and stale, the Cybertruck is a service nightmare, etc... Tesla plummets in the eyes of Republicans because Elon is no-longer loyal to Trump.

Squeegee 2025-07-05 03:29

It makes many things wet.

Sei28 2025-07-05 20:02

Surveys of Tesla stockholders. “Would you follow Elon into a lava pit?” 67% says yes.
